I got these but still feel iffy about the rebate. Has anyone had experience with blacking out coupons (just amount or entire entry?) with PFIZER rebates specifically in the past? It would be very thankful if someone could share.

i got a surprise last night.

on monday nite i bought 4 patches first trans.(got 2 -$4ups) then i bought 2 more in a second transaction. i got $4 ups x 1 and 1 - $10 ups for buying $25..with $8 tracking.

so i was able to print 3 more IP's so i went up last night to get 3 more bringing me to the total of $50.31 ($5.59x9) so i was only expecting 1-$4 ups..(limit 4 in the ad) and another $10 ups for the second $25 i spent. to my surprise another $4 popped out too!! dont know why? i only bought 9 total..not 10. I got 5-$4 ups!! 2-$10ups total

I have done several rebates with no problems in receiving it after blacking them out. all of my covergirl and olay rebates i blacked out. i got them both. I blacked out swiffer rebates. I blacked out prevacid. got them too.

I just look at it as an invasion of privacy to leave stuff showing. they dont need to know what tampons i buy or deod..or if anyone needs diapers or ky gel or condoms! they dont need to see my method of payment...credit card numbers of any kind. etc. so i dont feel bad blacking out. if its a rebate like prevacid where it said rebate minus their coupon..then i leave their coupon showing. all i have to prove to them is that i bought their product. be careful however when blacking out on thermal paper..if two are stacked, it bleeds thru beneath on another receipt! or other papers accidentally blacking out stuff you may not want blacked out! oops! learned that the hard way.

Do you black out just the amount of the coupon or the entire line that spells out the coupon?

I am tempted to try out the Pepridge cookies deal after reaching my limit and see if I get anything. A limit of 2 for cookies is too low!

I've never blacked out the coupons used on my rebates and I still get the full purchase price of the item back.

it depends on the wording of the individual rebate form. the prevacid rebate for instance said the refund was the amt paid minus the coupon that was attatched to the form. so i left that entire line visible showing the prevacid item cost and the coupon words and amt deducted on the receipt. but blacked out all the other UPs/coupons and other purchased items out completely..wording and totals.

I dont black out all my rebates just the ones that are being picky. any that say UP TO $ rebate... or minus coupons. or spend $$ after coupon total. because last year i got burned on the youth code. i paid for it using UPS and so they rejected my rebate, i wouldnt have bought the item without that rebate. i had to fight to get it. the store got involved on my behalf and i finally got it about 4 months later.

always photocopy your receipt PRIOR to blackening it out in case you have to resubmitt it. along with all other requirements you sent in..form and upcs

keep good records. I get 99% of my submitted rebates . but once in a while..something goes wrong. right now im waiting on a rebate from oct..from walgreens cardio juice. alot of people are still waiting though.

I didn't have a lot of UPs so I bought them in three sets of two, rolling the UPs from the previous trannys to pay for the next ones.

But I just looked at the the form and and it says to send in your receipt (singluar)!

I have 3 receipts with 2 Thermacare on each one!

Normally a rebate form will say "receipt(s)" if you are allowed to submit multiple receipts. I think I will return and rebuy them today, just to be on the safe side.....

So I took my mom to show her some Rite Aid 101...Here is what she did...

4 thermacare...............24.00 -12.00 (four 3.00 mq)

= .45 out of pocket

The kicker is...was expecting the following back 4.00,4.00,1.75,10.00,5.00,5.00 and 52.00 counted towards winter rewards

She actually got back, 4.00,4.00,4.00,4.00,1.75,5.00,5.00,10.00 and 52.00 counted towards winter reward...so all in all two extra 4.00 ups printed...weird, but AWESOME!!!

Yeah, Thermacare's been printing one $4 UP per pack today, instead of one $4 UP per pair. It's a glitchy kind of day at RA! Hope it's still happening tomorrow!

Hey all.....just wanted to thank everyone for their imput on this deal.....back on Friday (cali here) I thought I was done with my deals at RA....and jumped back over there to "complete" the deal yesterday.....WOW, this came out to a huge MMer with Q's....even w/o the q's you still make about $15 on it.......

Anyways....heads up! I know it was glitchy yesterday from what I read pp.....but the thermacare UPS are valued at $4 printed on there.....but when redeemed, they would scan $2 off......I got them, and reused them right then and there.....and so glad we caught this! Maybe RA saw the glitch, and instead of giving $4 for every 2 (like suppose to) they put $2 for everyone. Just wanted to give the heads up. My RA still honored the $4.

I just got back...it didnt do it again...I bought 4...used four -3.00 mq and ups+...paid change...but I only got back four 2+UPS...Rite Aid has gone whacko! And my ThermaCare 4 UPS from yesterday only scanned as 2...not 4...but cashier fixed it somehow...so Im guessing its a done dead deal!

If you havent shopped at RA previously (it's pretty far for me) Can you still get this deal? Can you do the deal buying 4 therma at a time instead of 6 for the first TX? I do have a RA rewards card. Im addicted to thermacare for my neck. And would be great to use all those extra ups on theratears eye drops.

I went this afternoon around 1:30 eastern time bought 3 used 3 $3 coupons and yay 3 $4 ups printed haven't tried them yet to see if $2 or $4 come off.....bonus with the $18 from the 3 thermacare I am now only $4 away from $10 up ;-)
