If Rite Aid is aware of their mistake of the trial size being excluded in the promotion (which is sounds like they clearly are), however, did not notify customers with a sign clearly visible near the product AND upon entering, the store stating "we are sorry there is a misprint in the October 2 Ad..." and you therefore purchased the products, truth in advertising, would allow you to be eligible for the stated promotion. Simply taking down promotion stickers near a product does not qualify as alerting the public to a misprint. Asking consumers who bought the trial sizes to return the lower priced products (sizes that were clearly not excluded in the promotion) is a form of "Bait and Switch" as it fraudulently baits the consumer into the store with the hopes of the lower priced product and then switches the item to the more expensive item). The Federal Trade Commission handles complaints of this nature to keep stores honest in their practices.

But the ads always say not responsible for typo's. That is where they will get away with it. We have gotten so many deals from rite aid. I myself will let it go. There are more deals to come.
