I went to a Rite Aid in another town tonight, one that actually DID have signs up all over the store (I'm so not used to that!! ) anyway, as I was browsing the aisles looking for deals, I found a shelf tag under the Rite Aid brand cough drops that said 50 cents-get $1 up when you buy two!! The dates on the tag was the same as all the monthly deals and the ups I received had an exp of 4/30 just like the others. I dont know if there is a limit bc they only had 4 but I am planning to look for more, this is a good way to break larger ups into smaller ones and ones with a longer expiration. Sorry if this has already been posted. I didnt see it anywhere but its after midnight and my eyes are tired.

I'm about to head off shopping for this morning, actually overslept a little I'll post back here if I find more and if different flavors work.

The regular price is 99 cents. They were in the back of the store near where the sample/travel size stuff was

On my receipt these rang up as .99 and then .49 and got $1 back so not free this week. I think they were marked 2 for $1 so I will have to check next time I go

These are ringing up .99 and .49 when you buy 2. They are printing the up though. The weekly sale is overriding the monthly sale. My store was nice enough to price mod all of them. I got 20 so I am assuming there is no limit on the up reward.

Mine did the same. I picked up the cherry instead of the lemon and they rang at .99 for first and .49 for the 2nd. Didn't check my receipt until I got home. Still a good deal though.

I took a picture of the shelf tag this time (will post it in a minute) it said 50 cents get $1 up when you buy two and it did have dates BUT there were none in the regular spot (where the sign was posted-bottom shelf right beside the Sucrets under the Halls) and I tried some of the ones up by the register and it didnt work so it may be a case of the weekly deal overriding the monthly one

I tried this at my store and this weeks sale is bogo50%, so the first one will ring up $.99 and the second will ring up $.49 because the weekly sale trumps the monthly sale. I'll wait until next week to get some.

sorry I didnt know Thats kind of misleading to have those signs up in the store, then have it scan full price. I was so excited about finding a freebie that I couldnt wait to come let everyone know about it. I'm gonna try it again next week.

I'm happy that you pointed it out!!! I never wouldn't noticed it otherwise. I think that the register should be smart enough to give the better deal... or maybe that RA should be smart enough to not include those in the bogo50% sale...

Next week I'm shelf clearing these at all the RA's i go to. I have tons of high dollar ups I want to break up-4 nelimeds, 4-razors and 4-kys.
Not to mention the ups won't expire until early May!! Right now they are $1.5 for 2, on Sun they should go back to $.50 each with a $1 up wyb 2. Ill price check 2 before I buy just to make sure.

MM idea- buy the scr contact solution for $8 and 14 cough drops to reach $15 and give CS $1 peelie and $3/15 survey!!

They should. All weekly deals override monthly deals. My ad this week has them as bogo50% so on Sun they should go back to being $.50 off regular retail. Do a price check just to make sure!!

This is wierd. I had only read the OP when it was first posted. So had no idea that the weekly ad says BOGO50%. So I did the deal in two Rite Aids today and all rang up as .50 per pack... 2 for $1 and got $1 Up for every 2. So free. Only one store had any tag by the product and it said nothing about UPs... it only said that the .50 price was good 4/3 - 4/9. So go figure?

Forgot to mention that I bought 16 in two stores, got 8 $1 Ups and the expiration date for all of them is May 10!

Lastly, I only did this deal to roll some UPs to a distant date. I don\'t need so many cough drops and they are all going to the Duffy Clinic, a facility which serves the homeless and those threatened with homelessness.

thats cool, I may try again tomorrow and see what happens. Won't hurt to get two and see what they scan. I have several $10 ups and some $5 ones and one $6 that I NEED to break up to a smaller amount and also get a longer exp date so I will be getting a lot too. There are no clinics around here (small town) I wonder if I could mail these to that place you mentioned or send them to you and you could take it to them? Is it a place near you?
