1 bottle of Ultra Dawn

I paid $2.38 (and 1.89 was tax)! I am so ecstatic!

I used 4 BOGO Vive Pro coupons on shampoo that was on sale BOGO and a 0.50q off any Ultra Dawn. A guy behind me said "Ain't that s--- like 5 dollars a bottle?" The cashier did try to refuse my coupons saying if it was BOGO I couldn't use them but she would try and see if it would take them. I think she was even impressed it worked.

I did this too today! I got 4 shampoo and 4 conditioner. The clerk sort of gave me a hard time at first, however I piped right up and said..oh yes you do take this coupon...she wasn't going to do it! Anyway, she realized I was right...

Never done this before, so just to clarify, I get two bottles of shampoo or conditioner use the coupon and the cashier just scans the coupon? Do the products ring up free, or does the cashier have to manually enter it? Also, are these the coupons for the nutrigloss and style and body?

When my order was originally totaled it was 22.84. Then she scanned my coupons and had to enter the price herself (as with any "free item" coupon). She did all 4 at 4.99 so 22.84-19.96= 2.88- 0.50 for my Dawn coupon left me owing 2.38. Clear as mud? And yes those are the coupons I used.

My cashier wouldn't take the shampoo coupons!! I had the $5 off $25 and said the computer wouldn't really take any more coupons because of that. She also would only take 1 gum coupon. By the time she took off the shampoo I couldn't use the $5. A waist of a trip for me. Just about. I did not see any lite popcorn either.

yup.......I had 6 coupons so I went in to get twelve and what do you think I found sitting there on the shelf a lonley lil BOGO coupon for vive i guess someone was like darn its already BOGO so i cant use it! Well I went ahed and did them the favor and used it (i helped pick up litter as far as I am concerned) And got 14 shampoos and conditoners I also got a orajel cold sore brush free after raincheck from previous rebate deal. a surge protector, 2 NYC nail polishes, a extention cord and two tooth brushes! total 15.26 but should be getting about 20.00 in rebates.....nice deal!!

so I am going to go do this deal today in washington state ..I was told you can only use 2 bogo coupons on every 4 bottle I was like WHAT ??? I have 20 coupon can't I get 40 bottle of vive and all be free just pay tax? Unless I just drive 5 mintues over the river to oregon and pay no tax LOL

That's interesting...... From previous discussions, I was under the impression that RiteAid's registers rang up BOGO items as 1/2 price for each item (rather than 1 full price & one free) which screwed up getting two free with a BOGO coupon & left you paying 1/2 price for one of them.

I may have to do a test run to see how the BOGO items work locally..... I was going to use that $8/20 rebate to get some cheap hair color for my wife, but I use Vive Pro all the time...........hmmmmmm.....new possibilities!

That is exactly how it rings up. HOWEVER, the add says BOGO so the price of each item is technically $4.99 (even though it rings up $2.49) therefore they SHOULD put your coupon it for the $4.99 price.

I think some people have cashiers that will do this for them. I had a really snotty one who would not. But I went with my receipt to the manager and he fixed it for me. The arguement I used was the add states BOGO, not 50% off so my copuon should be entered at the full price of one.

So you mioght have to work to get it for free depending on your store.

on my receipt it rings up as 4.99 and the second one rings up at 0.00
the system recognizes that you purchased 2 that's why the bogo COUPON scans for 1/2 the total number of shampoo

No go for me..........the cashier called the manager up and I tried to calmly explain it to them as they disputed with me. I left them with the shampoo & paid for my other items & left.

Perhaps a store with registers that ring normally will have BOGO before my Q's expire!
