I was rolling my UPs today (the ones that expire 1/1) and to my delight, my new UPs don't expire until 2/5! I wonder if Rite Aid was getting a lot of grief about short expiration dates? Whatever, this is nice for anyone who needs a little bit of breathing room with their UPs!

Did you maybe buy the stationary items that are producing ups I think someone said that is a month long deal

The expiration date is 2 weeks from the date the deal ends. There's a lot of month long deals that go until 1/22, 2 weeks from then is 2/5. This weeks deals that end on 1/1 will have an expiration date of 1/15. Hope this explains it better.

Thanks--I didn't know that about the month-long deals. I did buy the stationery and soup items. I like these longer exps--might give me a new strategy to roll some stuff quickly into month-long deals to get the longer exp.

remember this too when you are using your ups. I separate them in my accordian folder by expiration date, then by amount. I have 3 slots right now, one that expires on 1/8, one that expires on 1/15, and one that expires on 2/5. I then keep them in order of amount. I would hate to use up the ones that have a long expiration date.

I bought the pilot pens and got the later 2/5 exp.
they were $1.83 after my 20% wp discount
and a $4 up printed when you bought 2. small mm

Just a caution - not all of them are long dated. I got the Vicks and Gillette Razor and those both expire 1/15. The Pilot and Progresso expire on 2/5. Check them all carefully. I filled them separately.

You can figure the expiration date by looking at the shelf tag. Look for the date the up reward will go until. Then figure 2 weeks from them. The tags on the pens and all the office supplies and progresso are from 12/26 - 1/22. Vicks and Gillette are just week long deals and end 1/1, giving them the expiration date of 1/15.
