If I were to buy Scope 750 ml ($4.69) and Crest Toothpaste ($3.69, free wyb scope), would the $3.69 count toward my total to use the $5/$20 coupon. Same with Herbal essences.

For example:

From my experience the free item comes off in the end, if you notice the little machine on the counter when they are ringing you out you can see if come off.

the free items come off the total before your 5 off 20.

i don't think it would count towards your $20, but couldn't you use a $1 off crest coupon too, cause technically you are buying crest too.

Well, its a type of buy something get one free sale. So.... since they let us use 2 coupons on a bogo we should be able to use one coupon for each of the items in question.

In regards to it counting towards your total, that depends on if it rings up as zero right away or if it comes off at the end with the other discounts. If it comes off near the end, then it would count but I would not count on it if I were you. Just plan on needing more to make the 25 dollar total and use more coupons. That is my advice.

The free items will come off prior to your total if they were on sale BOGO so they won't count towards the $25. If you are using BOGO coupons, as long as you give them the $5/$25 coupon first, it will work. I just did this with Herbal Essence.
