Has anyone had any trouble using multiple coupons for b1g1? I just ordered some Herbal Essence coupons for next weekds buy one get one sale and I'm not sure how many I should use in each store/transaction? Any ideas? Also I live in NH so no sales tax here should I buy something else just to be more discrete and not seem like I'm steeling?

Read the post with Rite Aid's pdf coupon poilicy. Every store now has them at each register for customers to have a copy if they give you a hard time. But, you CAN use a BIGI coupon on a RA B1G1 sale and pay ZERO for 2 products. You don't have to buy anything else to be discreet or anything, you are NOT stealing!! Also, I NEVER wipe the shelves out, but if they have plenty, I will get as many as I need/want. I just make sure I leave enough for at least several ther customers. My manager will actually let me tell him ahead of time and order an additional ?XX? amount if I need a bunch and keep them in the back until i come get them!! Last B1G1 sale, I he ordered me like 100 (extra) bottles!! It was for me, my sister, mom and friend too!! We had a great idea about combining one of each of the products in a particular line of Herbal Essence (like the body volumizing line) to make complete gift baskets for Christmas!! Saves even MORE money down the road!!

Dont feel like you are doing something wrong because you aren't!! I have an awesome store manager at my RA and he explained it like this (to his employess)...
A coupon is the EXACT same thing as the customer handing you cash, if it is a $1 coupon, treat it as a $1 bill."

That's the TRUTH, each store gets reimbursed CASH for every coupon, so we are just the "middle" man on getting it to them

Also, just an idea...if you ordered the coupons, you should have several, so why not use a $5/$20 Video Values coupon to get even MORE freebies!? I usually try and get something for $5 that I KNOW I HAVE to buy anyway, such as toilet paper, etc since it is FREE!! That is just an added bonus!!

This is also a GREAT time to pick up Christmas gifts That's what I have been doing with all the GREAT sales at RA....

I'm new to coupons and have been shopping mostly at Walgreens for drugstore deals so far. How does the $5 of $20 work? Can I take that off before any coupons?

I wish I had a great Rite Aid manager like yours amhunter. Mine doesn't know that much about coupons and she makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong when I combine certain coupons even though its perfectly okay to do so. She scrutinizes my video reward coupons and lets the cashiers make up stuff to not let me use coupons and worst of all she programs the register incorrectly and it blocks certain coupons and combinations from working even though they should.

That's why I usually don't attempt to use a free coupon with a bogo sale, a bogo coupon with a bogo sale or bogo coupon with 2 other coupons because I always get hassled or if there isn't a manager on staff the register won't let the cashiers override it to let it go through.

I just hope that corporate can fix things like they say they are going to - evidently they have gotten numerous complaints on how coupons are redeemed incorrectly at my Rite Aid - I'm just getting sick and tired of fighting with the cashier, register and manager sometimes over something that I shouldn't have to fight them about.
