I used a scenario I found on another blog

bought:
2 130 Centra-vite vitamins $7.99(BOGO)
1 EOS Lip Balm $1.99
1 reusable shopping bag $.99
1 Zantac $8.99
Total - $19.96

Coupons:
$5/$20 RA
$7.00 Centra-Vite BOGO
$5.00 Zantac
$.99 Reusable shopping bag
Total -$18.98 in coupons

$19.96
-$18.98
$ .98 plus $ .42 tax

I wanted to do this on Wed. and Mgr RA refused it and she said when Corp. called her that she would deal with it then but there was no way I could use it because I was already getting one free. She would not allow the peelie on the Zantac either b/c of it being that I had the $5.00 q. I had the copy of the coupon policy and she said she had one too but it made no diffence to her.
She is a real hateful lady I am not kidding u along with a few cashiers. I wish I had a closer RA and I would avoid that RA all together. She has been there for ever.......

I would call corp on this one, she should have accepted the RA q for the free vitamins without question but I do not understand the one on the Zantac, were you trying to use 2 diff mq on one item? I do not think that would have worked so I would agree with her on that one.

I did speak with Corp. at the time I was there and she kept saying but you have a RA coupon and you want to get two for free with the RA coupon. I told her they are buy one get one so I wanted to use my free 130 count for the first one and doesnt that mean that the second one for free I should get. Cashier, store mgr and rep all said no so I didn't even bother with the Zantac problem b/c I wasnt about to run min on this crap. The problem was I was getting two and I wanted to use the IP for one and I pulled off the peelie for the other and she said I could only use one of the coupons not both because the peelie was a manufacture q to be used the next time I purchased Zantac just like the one I had left on one of them.
What I did was had her to take the one off which neither was happy and did another purchase of the Zantac after going to my van b/c I had also gotten pepsi, Brawny, Quilted Northern tp etc. It peeves me off...b/c before I started q'ing there had been no problems with purchases there. I have found them to be very unfriendly to couponing. Sometimes I go father and I don't have this problem but there are times I just don' t have the time to go the extra miles. Thanks for letting me vent...

I've been taking advantage of the phone in survey at the bottom of my receipts. I have one store I love, but the manager has worked there too long, and hates coupons. I have completed each survey stressing that I would love to shop there, but she makes it unpleasant, and since I've done
this she has been fine. I would also contact the district manager. You just have to call the store to get their name. Let them know that she is defying RA coupon policy. It might change things and save you gas in driving to one further away. HTH!

Any other ideas on the Oral Care Coupon Books would make a great thread for the Rite Aid Forum :-) I have already used the vitamins - bummer but that is okay. I have many of the others left.
