OK, found the answer on another site. Yes, R-A is participating. And Herbal Essence is one of the qualifying brands. yay!

I would call the number just in case because I saw on another site that walgreens wasn't participating and I called and they are. so you never know if another site is right.

just thought of something- I wanted to do the Olay Rebate for $20, and the free Cookware but both require original receipts. Do you think Rite-Aid would print me an extra receipt?

Yes. The woman also told me that you only need a copy of your receipt not the original.

I called the 1-877 number and the woman I spoke with gave me this information:

They would like the original receipt. I asked what about a copy and she hesitated and said we would really like the original with a total of $25 in P&G items on the same receipt.

I asked if there was a form to fill out and she said no, but you can just send the original receipt with the UPC numbers of the PG items (she said last 5 digits but I'm going to write out the whole thing) to this address and include your name, address and phone number:

The offer expires on 11/20/2009.

I wish I had ordered my coupons earlier for the Herbal Essence! They still aren't here yet and it looks like today is the last to puchase items to qualify for the cookware set. It say only until 10/14/09 for purchase.

The date I am finding is 11/20/09. So, I think you will be fine. The date of 10/14 was attached to an offer with Toysrus and P&G.

I just called the toll free # and verified and she said different stores are running the promo with different dates. The purchase date for Riteaid is until 11/20/09! Thanks so much!

I just called the toll free # above and was told that RA was NOT a participating store, she asked me to give her the names of some stores in my area and these are the only ones that are participating: Walgreens, Walmart, Harris Teeter grocery store and Target.

I just called and was told Rite-Aid is participating and like other posters have said to put the information on a blank paper,with requirements and mail to the address given.

it seems that there is alot of conflicting info about this rebate. Maybe it depends on where you live as to which stores are participating.

Maybe or it might have something to do with the fact they have 2 different promos running right now? Everytime I asked the rep today a question she asked "for the cookware promotion"? And then proceeded to tell me they have 2 different promos running right now and that is why she was asking. I guessed I should have asked about the other promo.
