There ain't a damn thing worth buying in the RiteAid ad for this coming week, based on my initial review.

This is possibly because of my surly attitude towards that hellhole-of-a-store, so feel free to post any good deals that you may find.

The only thing that I would even consider purchasing is as follows: if you like your cheap beer, but don't like to pay much for it, there's a deal (not sure if it is only in Michigan) on Miller High Life or High Life Light. Says sale is on 12-packs, 2 for $10.98. There are peelies on the cartons for $3.00 MIR wyb 2 12-packs, so it's around $8.00 for 24 bottles. That's pretty cheap, for bottles. Even if it is cheap beer.

Over-and-out on the Rite-Aid!

I have found a lot of good deals at rite aid this past week. I practically got all the free stuff on the front page. I use my playtex coupon and that will cover the tax. So I am getting $35 back from them.

I can confirm...there is beer in VA, even in the Rite-Aids

There is also beer at the Rite Aids in Maine

New York too! I lived in Pa before where you get all your liquor at a State liquor store, and all your beer at a distributor. It was quiet a shock to go in to Rite aid, Eckerd, the grocery store etc and see beer! I can see her surprise at it if you have never seen it before.

So you are saying she doesn't get out much?

LOL I've been out. I know, I know....other states don't have such tightly controlled liquer laws as PA. I just think it is funny, buying beer at Rite Aid and wine at CVS.

Purely a guess, but I would think that RA makes half of their profits at the front-end of the store on booze ...

OK, now that we have established that RA sells beer pretty much everywhere that Trish doesn't shop ...

There are a few other deals worth mentioning this week (11/5 - 11/11):

1) There's a $4 SCR on GE power strips, which are $4 this week.

2) There's a $4 SCR on GE electric outlet timer thing, which are $4 this week.

3) In case you live more than 3 hours away from a CVS and haven't stockpiled enough to last you 5 years already, there is ACT rinse, which is $2.99 this week, minus $2 SCR, minus $0.75 coupon from this weekend's paper ... puts it at $0.24 for a bottle. You can check, there may also be deals for Reach TB and floss.

4) There's a somewhat-weird sliding-scale deal on 7-Up. It's on sale for $0.77 per bottle, and the rebate increments increase for each you buy, up to four of them (which works out to be less than a dime per bottle, if I did the math correctly).

But quite honestly, I'm just going to stick with buying the beer from my OP, since they can't jack my SCR around on that one!!

No wine or liquor anywhere except specialty stores in TN. You can get beer at the stores.
