"Basic" Bounty paper towels are on sale thru Sat. Oct. 28th for 59cents. If you have any of the 1$ off any two rolls of Bounty (they expire on the 31st)....you can get 2 rolls for 25 cents. I got 6 rolls including tax for exactly 75 cents.
The cashier had to give me crap because the picture on the coupon was of regular Bounty. She had to go and question the manager, who I heard say, "We're not going to let her have them for free. Scan the coupon and if it says it doesn't match............". Blah, blah, blah. :
It matched!!
Why do they have to act like we are taking their personal money? Give me a break.

Technically you weren't getting it free and YOU CAN HAVE IT FREE! They get the money back for the coupon so they ar not out anything..

I have come to the conclusion that the cashiers that hassle you about getting it free are JUST JEALOUS!! I has a problem at target once getting trials and REALLY NASTY she was like "Well you can't JUST HAVE IT FOR FREE!" I told her to call the manager over and Kim, MY FAV MANAGER, was like Of course she can! I looked a the cashier like HAHA! TAKE THAT! She looked as though she felt pretty stupid

having worked in retail before....I think that cashiers become possesive over the store and its merchandise. They start thinking...if the company doesnt make money my job is in peril

I was a mgr and it always amazed me the crazy crap the cashiers would come up with.
