| There are really only a handful of rebates for July that seem particularly interesting to me.
1) Rebate #500 - The Skin Rebate Continues (Unlimited, buy 2 qualifying products, get $5.00 skin rebate). Watch for weekly sales on items that qualify, and keep buying the small Curels (which are moneymakers all month long). For example, watch for SoftSoap bodywash to go on sale again, it will likely be a small moneymaker again (but not as lucrative as it was in the early weeks of June) ... oh and don't panic and go buy the coupons, as they are rumored to be in this coming weekend's inserts.
2) Rebate #66 - Buy $15 Revlon Colorstay cosmetics, get 1 free Hollywood Movie Money certificate (limit 2). I don't know anything about this stuff, but I think there are coupons galore for this stuff, and it would probably be fairly easy to put a deal together for this.
3) Rebate #67 - Buy $25 Dove skincare products, get $10 RiteAid giftcard (limit 1). There are some Dove products that will overlap with the Skin Rebate, and Dove has coupons out. There may be a deal that works here.
4) Rebate #68 - $5.00 rebate on any Hawaiian Tropic product (excl lip balm) (limit 1). The HT sunscreen products will overlap with the Skin Rebate as well (count as a quialifying product), but watch out for the packages market "33% more product" bonus packs, thru some glitch in their system, these have not been counting. There are store-coupons in the Skin Care guide, $2.00 off. And there are manuf coupons in a lot of places (including the Budweiser stands right there in the RiteAid store, at least here in Michigan). You may well make a buck or two on one of these.
5) Rebates #110 and #114 - $2.00 rebates on Lysol wipes and $2.00 rebate on Lysol all-purpose cleaner. There are frequently rebates on Lysol, but the last time they were $2.00 was a few months ago, and during one week they had these products on sale as well. Keep your eyes open for such a sale (as long as you didn't buy them already, during the overlap period).
6) Rebate #115 - $2.00 rebate on Electrasol (gel, powder, pacs, or jetdry). Electrasol is rebated somewhat frequently, but the last time it was $2.00, they had a sale on it one week that month. Just like the Lysol above.
7) Rebate #124 - tiered rebate on Duracell Coppertop. This is set up just like it was for June (there is a separate thread explaining the rebate and setting up a deal). The only difference is: last month, these batteries overlapped with the P&G gas card rebate; this month, there is no P&G gas card rebate, so the deal won't be nearly as good. However, these things will likely go on sale one week this month (watch for like $3.00 per 8pack), at which point you can buy them if you need batteries (won't be free or money maker as they were last month).
That's about it, as far as I'm concerned (and a couple of those are a bit of a reach even!) July clearly isn't as great a month as June was, that's for sure. |
