| There are really only two things I am buying this week at RiteAid.
First, I am buying the Revlon Custom Effects hair color junk. It's free after rebate this week ONLY (as opposed to most other RiteAid rebates that last for an entire month). My wife uses this stuff, and seems to go through it somewhat quickly. She has already burned through all the boxes that I got free at Walgreens a couple months ago, so this deal comes just in time for me! There are $2.00 off coupons on this stuff as well, so you can make a couple bucks on it. [My wife uses the Honey highlights, number H20, and we are accepting donations!] Limit one on this rebate.
Second, I am buying the Curel 6oz tubes. These things are regularly $3.99, but are on sale for $2.99 this week. Use the $2.00 coupon from the Skin Care Guide, and they are $0.99. But they count towards the skin care rebate (2 qualifying items = $5.00, unlimited), so stock up on the coupons, and then go buy as many Curel 6oz. you can find (they are a bit rare at stores around here).
They also have this deal where, if you buy 3 products from a qualifying list (Mr Clean, Bounty, Secret, OldSpice, Crest, Gillette, Cascade, Charmin), you will get a free 24-pack of Crystal Lake water. If you have the $1.00/1 Crest coupons, you can get 3 toothpastes and a case of water for around $3.00.
Also, they have "Dove Skin Care, your choice, $6.99". If you pick products from "Dove Body Lotion Products" your purchases should count towards the Skin Rebate, as well as the "Buy$25 Dove, get $10.00 RiteAid GC" rebate. Off the top of my head, you could probably buy 4 Dove Energy Glow @$6.99 = $28.00, minus 4 $1.50/1 coupons (5/14 V circular). Should qualify you for 2 Skin Care rebates ($10.00 total) plus a $10.00 RiteAid GC. We got a sample of this stuff not too long ago, and wife didn't like it.
I don't really shop for make-up and other types of stuff, so I can't really testify on those deals.
Oh, one more hint for those RiteAid shoppers here in Michigan: The Miller boxes and cases at all 3 stores I've been to all have $1.50/1 Frito peelies on them. Those chips are on sale at lots of stores this week, resulting in free chips. |
