Frees and Money-makers at Rite-Aid this week Does anyone on this board, other than me, shop at Rite-Aid? If so, grab your $1/1 coupons for the SoftSoap body wash from yesterday's inserts, and go buy some before they run out. The 12 oz is on sale for $2.49 each, and every two of them that you purchase qualifies you for the "Skin Rebate". So if you buy two, and you use those coupons, that's $2.00 profit to you on the pair. Oh, and did I mention that you could do this an unlimited number of times? Also, Coppertone Continuous Spray is a money-maker this week. Advertised price is $8.99, minus $5.00 rite-aid rebate, minus $5.00 coupon that you can find in this printable: http://www.riteaid.com/promos/skincare/ and click on "download coupons". LIMIT 4 on the $5.00 rite-aid rebates for Coppertone. Oh, and my purchases are also counting towards the "Skin Rebate" as well, so this is even better than it first appeared. And finally, that Coppertone purchase also counts towards the Kodak/Coppertone $10.00 rebate ... so all you have to do is buy a 2-pack of one-time-use cameras (which are on sale for $8.99), and you will also get the $10.00 for that rebate!! (Limit 1 on the Kodak/Coppertone rebate, I believe). Some good freebies and money-makers at Rite-Aid this week!

BIG THANKS This rebate actually got me to look if there was any rite-aids in our area. For some reason I never thought there was. There is one not very far from here too. unfortunately there are two huge rebaters that live in that town and I'm sure the shelves are empty with an unlimited rebate and these two ladies. nice to know there is one close by tho.

Love it that you three men are discussing a deal! If only I could get my husband more involved.

I shop at Rite-Aid sometimes, depends on what the deals are any given week/month...I did find one near me that usually has most of the FAR stuff in stock, but now that the kidlets are out of preschool, I have to really pick and choose which deals I'm going to try to get involved in! We may have to make a trip this week though for the continuous spray coppertone - I paid full price for some and really like it. Thanks for the head up!

Well - I do the shopping and the cooking, and starting yesterday for the next year I am the sole moneymaker (my wife went out on sabbatical for the next year as we are expecting our second child - due date was yesterday) so I need to really start streching those pennies... Now if I could just find another greate diaper deal like that CVS B1G1 deal at the end of last year. ~P

Back to the topic at hand (as he wrestles the conch back from Ladywine): Here is a typical trip I am making to RiteAid this week: (4) SoftSoap Body Wash 12 oz ... @$2.50 ... $10.00 (1) Coppertone Continuous Spray 6oz ... $8.99 (1) Kodak 4-roll 200Film Gold Bright Sun & Flash ... $8.99 SubTotal: $27.98, plus tax (approx $1.70) (1) RiteAid $5/$25 store coupon (5/7/06 Insert in some markets)... make sure you give this to cashier before all the other coupons! (4) SoftSoap Body Wash $1/1 coupon (this weekend's inserts) (1) Copperton Continuous Spray $5/1 coupon (from the in-store skin guide, or printable via link above) (1) Kodak Multi-roll film $2/1 coupon (from 5/7/06 insert, i believe) Out-of-Pocket SubTotal: $11.98, plus tax (approx $1.70) You will accumulate the following "single-check rebates" in your account: Rebate #5 - Kodak/Coppertone -- $10.00 Rebate #71 - Coppertone -- $5.00 (see disclaimer at bottom of this post). Rebate #500 - Skin Rebate -- $10.00 (plus one credit towards the next $5.00 skin rebate). So it's $13.70 or so OOP including tax, but you get $25.00 of rebates, plus all the stuff! That's a crazy profit!! Oh, and did I mention that you can do this a bunch of times! There is a limit of FOUR rebates for #5 and #71, and no limit whatsoever to the #500 rebate. And finally, one last thing. On Rite-Aid's website somewhere, there's a mail-in rebate form for a free book of Yoga or of Pilates, wyb a Coppertone Continuous Spray. I don't have a link for it, but if you PM me, I can email you the .pdf file! disclaimer: For some reason, in some instances, the $5.00 rebate for #71 isn't being credited. I can't figure it out. I have an inquiry into to the Rite-Aid program seeking clarification. I fully expect them to fix this problem in their system! Even if they don't, still quite a deal!

Thanks for the outline - I went yesterday and bought 2 coppertone sprays - I still haven't gotten my supply of weekly inserts yet to get the Soft Soap. Also - what is interesting - in the Single Check Rebate Circular it says limit of 4 rebates on the Coppertone Spray - yet at my RiteAid - it said limit of 1 rebate.

Looks like you can also do 1 deal on Banana Boat Continous Spray on sale this week for 7.99 - not quite the money maker but after you've done your 4 coppertone deals... $3.00 Instant Rebate $2.00 Coupon on the coupon sheet the Wolverine linked to earlier in the post and it counts toward 1 of the 2 items needed for the skincare $5.00 instant rebate

Another question - I bought the 2 coppertones yesterday - can I buy the 2 rolls of film today to use for the $10 rebate? Or do I have to buy them at the same time? It doesn't specify the same reciept in the rebate add - but not sure if it has to be.

Congrats Paul! The Walgreen's deal on Huggies is pretty good this month, esp. if you can find some good coupons, spend $25 and get $16 in entertainment cash...stock up on some music and videos for the new little one! (or for yourself!)
