Yes, that's where mine was. It was on the opposite side of the Arm&Hammer Essentials MIR. I've never heard of Gertrude Hawk, so I am thinking that must be what you got in place of the Q .

FRASSS!!!!!! That must be it. Gertrude Hawk is a regional candy store up here. They're okay but the coupon is for $2/$20. Big whoop! I am not a chocolate fan Jenner. I'm know thats like saying I'm an anti-feminist but it gives me headaches and I got very spoiled eating European chocolate in high school when I worked for a French Chef on Long Island. I was reading about the white choc/coconut and our little neighbor (8 yrs old) down the street loves white choc and since we are Santa (shhhhhh.....she doesn't know yet!) I thought it would be cool to stuff in her pressies.

Oh well. Even if I ordered them they would get here in time.

$2/$20? Geesh that's no good! I'm another not-so-much into chocolate gal, but I really wanted to try the coconut. It's tasty, but two pieces were more than enough! I don't blame you for being spoiled on Eurpoean chocolate; I've heard it's in a whole other realm from American chocolate.

Yvon (the chef) really taught me a lot but in many ways turned me into a snob. American choc tastes like wax with chocolate flavoring to me and the headache (migraine) I get is so not worth it. I like things with a *bit* of chocolate, where it enhances and isn't the main focus.....closest I can think now is a Kit Kat....know what I mean? Only choc I've had here that I like is Cadbury although I will say the Lindy Truffles are mighty tasty IF they have been either refrigerated or frozen first!

Santa.....oye....its taken on a life of its own. At one point it was 8 kids. As they moved out of the "hood we told their parents they would have to take care of it because we could not drive 30plus miles every Christmas Eve and Easter (yes we're the Easter Bunny too!) to make this happen. For a while we had them stop over while the kids were at school and pick things up but its gotten too expensive with all the world changes in the last few years. The two that are still here.....they're as good as ours. They come and go as they please and we would do anything for them. Monique is a doll! Shes my white choc girl! Jake is more into video games at his age.

FWIW I get (4) different inserts every week (4 different newspapers) and I only had the Lindt Q's in 1 of the papers - the NY Post / Daily News.

That same insert ALSO had the Gertrude Q, so I don't think they "replaced" it...it's just that you didn't get it...

With your great taste for fine chocolate you can be my Easter Bunny anytime! I might be 28, but I still believe! I kwym about the kit kat...one of my faves is the reeses cups...strange because I don't much like the chocolate OR peanut butter, but it's just the right combo!!

On another note:Whatever candy I buy here eventually disappears...we must have a ghost or a really hyped up cat.
