| I dont normally go to rite aid but they had a few good deals so I took my DH and DS with me to prove a point at how this store treats people with coupns.I only bought 6 different items.For starters they had the wrong tag on the neutra air fresheners and they were marked at $1.99 so I got out my $1.00 off coupon and then my B0G0 free well they wer miss marked and the manager took it out on me,after me bit**ing enough she gave them to me for $1.99 but then refused my coupons.Then the orbit gum rang up wrong and she freaked because with my coupon I got 3 packs of gum for $.59 then there were a few other coupons and she gripped about all of them but bottom line she told me that I could not use any coupons that would make a item FREE!!!!Well that pissed me off (by this time my DH is scared st what I am going to do so he goes walking around the store)So then she says something smart about me being a coupon queen and I smiled and said yes you should see me at stores I like!!!Then I told her I would be making a complaint she said I have nothing to complain about,and that is the coupon policy for all rite aid stores !!!What I want to know is is this true?If not dose any one know who I can contact.There are 2 managers at this store and both of them give me a real hard time every time I try to use 1 coupon. | I don't believe that is their policy!!! I've used coupons that made items free (both here and in Alabama at Rite Aid) and then turned around and got their rebates on them (as well as manufacturer ones ) . Also if it was there policy to not allow you to get any items free using coupons then would that mean they don't accept free item coupons? DH and I both used the free black and decker home cafe coupons this weekend there. I do know that I have complained before corporate offices of Rite Aid and they back their employees like you wouldn't believe. I've never had any issues resolved with them ![]() |

| That is NOT their policy! I shop at RA ALL THE TIME! (4 different onces actually) Contact corp and tell them the managers harass you everytime you go in to the store with coupons, they call you names (coupon queen my be flattering but it's kinda rude for them to throw it out as they did), their computers are wrong and crap is always wrinning up the the wrong price! If you know someone else who is "complain savvy" have others call in about that location too! I had to do this with one of our Walgreens (had 5 people call with in the same week) and boy the next time I went there they were nice as pie!! |

| At the bottom of the reciept there should be a 800 # call them and tell them about your experience. I am sorry you had this happen. My hubby works for them. When they had there tape on sale and I went to use a coupon a cashier told me the same thing since it didn't ring up and she had to punch it in that she couldn't accept the coupon. I let her have it and told her who my husband was needless to say she got a "good" talkign to or written up and I got my tape They have a new cashier done there that is awesome and told hubby about it and she gets a $5 card. She is awesome everytime |

| There was one Rite Aid store that I went to for free stuff and I got awesome service... the girl wasn't sure what to do with the coupons I had so she called the manager over and he told her to give me the free bandaids He also said that I knew how to work the system! It was also a store that was open 24 hours so I went at an odd hour.As for bad service... I usually have awful service at Walgreens... | Just got a call from the head district manager of rite aid.He was very sorry for what I had to go through and will be comming out to the storethis week to get to the bottom of my situation then he will be contacting me later this week with what ever he finds out.He informed me that they except all coupons and I should never have a problem redeeming any.He continued to say he was sorry for the managers behavior,and said he will talk to me later on this week I wonder what if anything I will get out of this,maybe their jobs! |
