I went to two different Rite Aid's today, and one didn't have the coupons, and the other when I asked went behind the counter and said yea here they are, but you aren't allowed to use thise one, this one, or this one, b/c we'd owe you money. But you can use the crayons one b/c it's only free. I was like well ok what if I buy enough glue to make it where I owe you, she says nope still can't! UGH! So I'll go to the other Rite Aid, the one that is WAY out of my way, but is always nice about coupons and what not, but it sucks that they are coupons for the customers and then they say you can't use them.

i'm sure alot of the stores have them behind the counter because, unfortuanatly, too many people are greedy!!! as for why they won't let you use them i don't understand. why don't they just change the price of the coupon amount if that's the problem.

I can understand if they want to limit the customers. But for them not to give the coupon to you at all is so weird. And I agree, why not just adjust the coupon?

How is that not false advertising, I received my coupons in the mail, I'd like to see them try to tell me I can't buy the products with the coupons.

I would call coorporate... I figured this out last night! I went in to my original rite aid and all ALLLLL the coupons were gone, I thought wow people got the hang of it.. free school supplies, but it seemed to weird, even the hanging hooks were gone!

I would call coorporate! if they issue the coupons it's for us to use them!RIGHT!!

i believe that you are thinking of the coupon book that was sent in the mail. the coupons that the OP is talking about is a single sheet of school supply coupons found inside rite aid.

Well when the lady told me I couldn't use them on those certain items her and the only other cashier at the front end of the store both went outside, so I grabbed 3 of the tearpads. Went in there today when a different cashier was working, and had no problems!

I went to a Rite Aid yesterday and they had no clue about the school supply coupons. I went to a different one today and the cashier said that they threw them all away because they had already "aggressively discounted" the school supplies and anyone using the coupons would get them for free....whatever.

I felt like asking where the dumpster was.

I had to ask for them today, the manager had them in the office and gave me only 1 so I was able to use all of the coupons for the free items. I got glue, notebooks and crayons. I am not passing up free school supplies
