I wanted to do rebate #6, Olay purchase one (1) of any variety Anti-Aging Cleanser. I bought 7-in-1 Anti-Aging salicylic acid acne cleanser. I entered the reciept but it didn't show up for rebate #6 but it did for rebate #74, Purchase any 2 of any variety Definity, Regenerist or Total Effects. I called them yesterday to let them know it came up wrong and the cs guy said they just figured out that morning that it was comming up wrong and they would review it and email me. Today I recieved that email and it said

"Our records indicate that your purchase of Olay Te A-Blem Clnsr 5Z did ot qualify for offer #6 because the correct one to purchase is theOlay Anti-Aging Cleanser. You can review the promotion requirements on the nternet at http://riteaid.rebateplus.com."

Umm.. isn't that what I bought? Should I call them and fight it?

the rebate terms say that the rebate is for items reg priced $9.49-$9.99
check your receipt - at my store they were scattered all around but there were spots on the shelf for regularly priced 7.49 items
if it says on sale reg 9.49 or 9.99 on your receipt you should pursue otherwise just return it and buy the other product

None of the Rite Aids near me have any Olay in stock

my stores had plenty of the mousse cleaner variety (looks like foundation)

it comes in a bottle like container not a squeeze tube

regular priced 9.99 - it qualifies - nobody bought it because it is not pictured in the ad but it is a facial cleanser

My rite aid doesn't have any cleansers either. Or cereal. Last week the didn't have any meters. Is this a trend or do they hide the stuff when they see me coming???

I did this the other day and when I went into my riteaid rebate account online today it was no longer approved. The other day it was and now it is gone. My receipt says it is regularly 9.99. What happened?

call them to see whats up. the number is on the scr booklet.

I think I realized what I did, I didn't buy the kind that said anti-aging. But what I bought was regularly priced at 9.99 and it was on sale for 7.99. I checked my ad and it said nothing about it had to be anti-aging so I think I may fight this. The rebate catalog online does say anti-aging but the ad doesn't and most people just go by what the ad says and it's weird that it was approved and then suddenly disappeared.

Thanks for the tip about the mousse variety. My 3 Rite Aids didn't have any cleansers that were pictured at all, but I rechecked and found the new Olay definity highly defined anti-aging penetrating mousse cleanser. It's 5.2 oz for 7.99 regularly 9.99. I am about 90% sure this qualifies but haven't gotten my SCRs in yet. And I had a $1.00 coupon...can't beat that! Thanks again for the tip!
