Cheap Kelloggs cereal~Rite Aid Combine SCR offer #136 (buy $15 get $5 coupon) with the Kelloggs $10 rebate in today's paper and get 10 boxes of cereal for about 30 cents each!!! Select Kelloggs cereals on sale for $1.99. Buy 10 for $19.90 (lower this by using Kelloggs coupons also in today's paper), and get $15 back. Hopefully this is not too confusing!! I used 2 $1 coupons. MIR needs to be dated Aug 5, so don't buy til Tuesday. Guess I'm taking mine back and rebuying!! Last edited by mama2gavin; 08-04-2008 at 09:03 AM.

WOW! You are awesome!! Thank you!!! Quick question - why did you only use 2 Qs for $1? If I have more, would I want to use them or is there a limit? just wondering... thanks!

A continuation from above... could I use 4 Qs to get the price to $15.90, then get the $5 back and the $10 rebate??

One more question... is there a limit to the $15 get $5 back deal? Can I do it twice? It says "$5 coupon" is this an SCR or something different? Sorry for so many questions ![]()

Actually you don't have to do all cereals as the Keebler 12 oz. Pecan Sandies, the Grab & Go cereals & Cereal Straws are also 1.99. I'm going to buy 8, 2 cereals, 2 cookies, 2 cereal straws 2 of Grab & Gos.

I too was wondering if your total is less than $15 after qs do you still qualify for rebate? Thanks.

Rite iads site says you get a $5 coupon. Does anyone know what that coupon is for? Is it to Rite AId or for more cereal?

If it is the same as last year's offer- the Rite Aid coupon is a $5 Q for Kelloggs products.
![]() | ![]() |
| |||
Do you know is the Q a Rite Aid Q or a manufacturer Q that you can use at other stores.

I think I remember it being a Kelloggs coupon that could be used anywhere. ![]()

I would be careful purchasing the cereal at Rite Aid to try to get the 2 rebate deal (SCR & Kellogg rebate). The sizes don't match up. Many of the cereals that are on sale at my store were only the 8-11 oz and the Kellogg's rebate specifically states that the cereal needs to be 12 oz box or larger.

I bought raisin bran (20oz)-5 box and corn flakes (12 oz)- 1 box plus 4 boxes of the straws today. Each was 1.99 and had $1/2 for all of them. So I got them for 1.49 a box. Watch out for the fruit loops, and apple jacks because I know those are 8.75 or so oz and won't work for the deal as NHMom3 stated.

The picture in the SCR booklet appears to be of a Kellogg's manufacturer Q!

| Yes, that is a good point. The Kellogs rebate clearly states qualifying sizes. Unfortunately for me, I realized this after the fact. So, I'll just get the Rite Aid rebate coupon AND I found an up to $3.99 rebate peelie on the Strawberry Rice Crispies. I bought 8 boxes of cereal, 4 boxes of pop tarts and 1 Fun Pack (8 boxes of individual size cereals). My order total came to $29.90 - $7 in coupons - $1.76 in First Tuesday savings + $1.99 strawberry Rice Crispy rebate = $17.90 That averages to $1.37/box + $5 Kelloggs/Rite Aid rebate coupon bonus. I want to note that my rite aid was well cleaned out of the cereals so I had limited choices. My guess is that a lot of people are taking advantage of this deal! Quote:

Thanks so much for posting the qualifying sizes! I didn't read the rebate thoroughly enough the first time and thankfully my rite aid was out of cereal or I would have bought the wrong ones! I too have the peelie for the strawberry rice crispies but it's on the same receipt as the 10 rebate so I'll just shoot for the 10.00 one. Too bad they won't take a photocopy of the receipt! Thanks again!
