ECON 101

only exception would be if you could buy the gc at a discount or geta bonus like the WAG rebate system

but to each his own - some people chose not to use coupons - some people chose to leave change on the counter

BUT WAIT WE'RE NOT THOSE PEOPLE
The ideal for me:
Purchase at RA with CC that gives me a 5% bonus at drugstores. Deposit rebate check immediately into interest-earning checking before I lose it. Autopay the credit card bill to keep money earning interest as long as possible and save a stamp and time it would take to mail in cc payment.
Wish I could do that at CVS instead of worrying every time I earn ECBs, that I will find something to roll it over to before the expiration date. Too much stress, plus I worry I will lose them by carrying them around. Credit cards can be replaced, and are harder to lose. And they also give you a grace period before you have to pay them, so if the timing is right, you might deposit the check before the autopay goes out.

I also like to get cash back and have had no problems cashing a check (50.00 and higher) at my store. They run it through and hand over cash no problem...can't beat that. I'm on a budget so sometimes I actually need the cash back instead of a GC, but that seems like a fine idea too. Also my store accepts IP, just did it yesterday. I'm surprised reading some of these threads, I guess I'm lucky my store is lenient...well except for that one nasty cashier. We all have those though I'll bet! Happy dealing!

There's a $1/1 Q in the CVS Reinventing Beauty Mag (Rachel RAy on Cover) good on any.
Look out for a peelie on the Old Spice razors that offers you a can of free OS shave cream with your purchase! I saw the peelie on my product, but didn't think to sneak a peak at the details of the offer at the store, opting instead to "unpeel" when I got home, only to realize that I could have got the free shave cream at the time of purchase

I'm heading back to the store tomorrow with peelie & my receipt to see if they will allow me to get the shave cream retrospectively

For those looking for Nature's Cure, I found mine today on the bottom of the shelf across from the cosmetics wall. It had a free pen attached to it. My store didn't have any left in stock on the aisle where you find the facial stuff but they were hidden there, so look around.

Also I bought 4 John Freida items but only one of them rang up as half price when it should have been 2. They are BOGO 50%, what should I do I think I'm right.

Take it back when you go back next week and let them know. I wouldn't make a separate trip for this, GAS is WAY too high for that!!

They will make it right, or you can just do a refund. Make sure you bring the products with you.
