they seem to be cracking down on this. yesterday on my receipt i used 2 VV in my name for .50c off each for skittles. I bought 2/$1 and it only took off .50c for ONE..the other says 0.00 so it WAS scanned and printed that on the receipt. so i dont know if this is NEW programming in the registers now or what is going on. maybe you can get away with using more than ONE acct but not in the same transaction, it seems for us here. I was told they were going to be changing this. so maybe they did. I tried it for the first time in one transaction this time one of our local stores also will not allow 1 person to use more than ONE card per visit. but HOW r people doing it; they have a VV acct for each email address they have...VV's are not attatched to cards they are attatched to email accts. (maybe that is changing to attatch to card now, so that is why only 1 'like' vv went thru) .... guessing? |

I have three different VV accounts for each of my email addresses, but I honestly only use one. If I do print multiple coupons, then I'll go to different Rite Aids, but I don't really do that. I used to be able to use 2 VV coupons in one transaction (before I realized they were limit one-my bad!), but I haven't tried in a while because almost every coupon I try to use a Rite Aid that's not from the newspaper is pretty much rejected :/ I wouldn't recommend trying to set up more than one account, because chances are, the cashier will reject them.

The way I always did it was with different emails, but I guess rite aid is getting more strict now.

You can use more than one in the same transaction, just not for the same item. The coupon clearly states limit one per customer. That's why it turned down the skittle ones and marked it as $0.00

double check your receipts NOW because it took the VV and scanned it..but the amt it deducted printed ZERO. so i had NO idea it didnt actually take them and the cashier didnt say anything either. I just knew my balance at register was off by a little so i double checked to figure out WHY. they didnt deduct the second .50c for skittles both my name..different acct emails...so beware of it.

The vvs will scan as zero if somehow you miscalculate and your total goes into the tax. The system is set up to automatically change the lowest one that will get you out of the tax to zero. So you must have been pretty close since it changed the .50 one to zero. You can't even go into the tax by a penny. It will automatically kick a up or a vv to $0.00. But if you add something it automatically adds back on without having to rescan the q. Make sense? My recommendation is take your receipt and add up the items and then subtract all your coupons to see if it went into the negative (which would in return cut into the sales tax). It happens to me all the time. You just need to pay close attention to your total before tax. |

I've never had this happen cause I always use my calculator before hand and figure out what the total will be and what UPs I'm going to use. If my total comes up different that I figured I ask for a print out of the receipt before paying. Has saved me a lot of hassle. It's always easier to fix things during the transaction than after the fact. It takes more time (I am sure the employees wonder why it takes me so long to get to the check out with my stuff. Maybe they think I really like to window shop.), and I look like I live with a calculator glued to me while in the store. But, money is so tight I really have to use the UPs to pay everybit of the total I can. Especially since I never have as many UPs as we used to in the 'old days', and lately there's been a lot whole lot of high value UPs. I am so excited to see what the new VV will be! I always look forward to it, but lately there's been a lot of disapointment. Although, I think I've used more VV this month than I have since like a year ago!
