They are crazy and making up their own rules. It all works the same. The manufacturer is still gonna reimburse them.

I use coupons on clearance all the time at RA. I would definitely call CS to complain about that store. I called in a complaint once about not being able to use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 sale, the DM called me to apologize plus he had the staff retrained so they stopped giving me trouble.

I just bought the Bounty Basic Towels on clearance for. .64c and used .25c/1 coupons. No problem....Call and complain about the store not knowing it's own policy!

I use coupons on clearance all the time. You should call because they are misinforming you.

They let me use q on Pringles, Dove bars and Bounty.

My 11 yr-old son cleaned out the Easter clearance candy with coupons. Most of it was free with the coupons. He did not have any issues, but one cashier mentioned to a friend that you can not use coupons on clearance items. She is always making up her own rules for the store so I tend to steer clear of her. One of these days she will say the wrong thing to me and I'll call cs on her. Anyway you can use coupon on clearance in Walmart, Safeway, TOP Foods, Swansons, Target, Fred Meyers... So why not RA? You don't deserve to be hassled and it is just bad customer service.
