| Quick newbie questions
I'm new to RA, I usually shop only at CVS but in trying to branch out. Please help with these questions: 1. Can you roll your UP rewards? Meaning, use them on the same product you got them for in another transaction? 2. Can you get an overage to use in your transaction if your coupon is worth more than the item? 3. Do rewards track on your receipt? Ie. when doing a buy $30 get $10 UP, do they have to be all in one transaction or will it track if I spread it out? Thank you so much! Dana.

The only one I can answer is yes, you can roll your rewards. Wish I had more answers, but I'm better at CVSing myself.

As far as #2 goes, it really varies by store. You can definitely get overage if you have a Rite Aid coupon and a Manufacturer's coupon for more than the total. But every once in a while you'll run into a cashier who won't take a coupon worth more than the product (I tried to use a $1 off Rimmel coupon on .99 Rimmel clearance polish and they wouldn't take it.) I've never had a cashier round down, and UPS won't round down like I hear happens with ECBs at CVS. UPS also won't cover tax. With #3, the general rule is if it's a spend $x, get UPS, it tracks. If it's a buy x quantity, get UPS, you have to do it in one transaction. Rite Aid's really glitchy, though, about programming things to track. Their online chat service will always send you your UPS if they don't print. |
