| Rainchecks
I ran into a little bit of an issue today when I went in to get rainchecks on the lysol soap kits. I just wanted a single raincheck for 1 kit and the lady wrote it up as $7.99 but she didn't want to put the up points on the raincheck. She said they didn't work on rainchecks but they always have before. After a few minutes we just wrote $3 up in the corner of the raincheck. When I take it back next within the next 30 days will I get the soaps for $4.99 when I checkout? Or will they ring it up as $7.99 and than give me a $3 gift card? Either way is fine with me as long as the stores by me carry the $3 up deal over into the following weeks. |

I wanted to do this too but wasn't sure I could. Great question, hopefully someone can answer this for the both of us.

What even better is I have rainchecks that will be good for 1-1-2012 and a $3 off coupon will be in the inserts so If it works out I should be able to have them take off the $5 video coupon first and than the $3 coupon from the paper and than the $3 up which would than combine to make more off the total purchase.

I have only gotten a raincheck from Rite Aid one time. With mine, they subtracted the UP Reward from the sale price and said that would be the price that I would pay for the product when they had some back in stock. Unfortunately, they never got any in before my raincheck expired.

My RA calculates the UPS when I redeem it. In this case, they would ring the purchase as $4.99 and I can use any current q's, VV's etc. i never mind getting rainchecks as long as my q's don't expire in the meantime.

I am new to rite aid and will be shopping there This week. I have looked through a lot of post, but wanted to make sure I understand the rain checks. The deal I am wanting to purchase a deal this week is a buy $40 in participating products get a $10 up. My question is if they do not have everything in stock the 1st visit will it keep track through the week or do I need a raincheck? Also if it does track, what if at the end of the week they still don't have the items in stock and I need a rain check. Do they include the ups or will I just get the sale price without the ups reward? Sorry for all the questions, but I really want to figure this out before I start. TIA for any help as it's very much appreciated!
