I use 1 cup borax 1 cup washing soda (arm and hammer) and 1 grated fels naptha bar mixed togather in the food processer. It is easy to make and works very well.

I use 3 bars Ivory soap 9 cups Borax and 9 cups Washing Soda. A one to three ratio. Mix well in large container and then pour into my baby formula cans the scoop makes a great measure. i use 1 scoop for lightly soiled loads and 2 scoops for work clothes/ jeans ect. DH was on board from the beginning when I showed him it was mostly water !
