alternative to buying swiffer mop refills

Use your old baby diapers (unused of course..) that no longer fit your baby..just turn inside out and voila! Been using this idea for the bags of diapers that are already open but no longer fit my baby's bum.

I like this Idea, I also thought about using all the free Kotex pads I got a while back.

For those of you who can crochet, there are patterns for making swiffer pads that you can throw in the laundry after use.

I use a washcloth. I don't have the spray kind so I just wet it first and spray my vinegar cleaner on it first. Works pretty good. Then I throw it in washing machine.

If you really want to buy a version - Dollar Tree has a purple pack of 10 for a buck. And they are pretty good.

Also you can dip the cap of an empty Swiffer liquid cleaner bottle in a pot of boiling water for approximately 15-20 seconds and you will be able to pop the lid right off. Just fill with water and whatever amount of your chosen cleaner you wish to use.

Totally OCD. Luckily my DH is building me new stockpile shelves so I can more easily rearrange and reorganize my goodies!

I used to save DH old socks when I had a swiffer. Just cut the foot part off, then cut a slit up the leg part...works great with those swiffer mops!
