If you love to read-You will love this site...

Wasn't sure where to post this. If it need's to be moved. I apologise..

Came apon this site, on another message board.

Here is a little about it..

FrugalReader.com
Where Avid, Frugal Readers Share Books

Simply list a few of your books for other members to request, and request a few books from other members. You get the books you want when you want them - there is no matching. Choose from a wide selection of hardcover, paperback, CD and cassette formats.

Best of all, joining and using FrugalReader.com is COMPLETELY FREE! The only cost you incur is shipping books to other members - and they pay the cost of shipping books to you. All shipping is done via low USPS Media Mail rates: $1.42 postage for up to 1 pound and $1.84 for 2 pounds.

Take as long as you want to read the books you borrow. When you're done with a borrowed book, re-list it so another member may request it. Then request another book.

Bottom Line: FrugalReader.com gets you the books you want, when you want them, for as long as you care to use them - all for less than $2 a book!

Why We're Here
FrugalReader.com exists to help you and avid readers everywhere enjoy the satisfaction and convenience of reading the books you want, when you want them, at the lowest possible cost

Would it not be easier to go to the library to get the books you want?

How funny Cyra. I just read an article about a place that I was going to post that emails a part of a book to you everyday and it is free. I will go search for the info and post it. The place you posted sounds a lot like this: http://bookcrossing.com/

I have been a member there for a LONG time and love it. Instead of setting books free you can trade with others what is on their "book shelf"

Dear Reader,

I'm glad you stopped by DearReader.com. Sign up at any of my email book clubs and every day I'll send you a 5-minute sample from a book. By the end of the week, you'll have read two or three chapters. If it's a book you've just gotta finish, and I hope it is, visit your local library or your favorite bookstore and pick up a copy. Have fun.

Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.

Barb,

Thanks, for posting that site. Like the idea of reading a few chapters of a book before I buy it.

Been so let down before on books that I thought was so good, but by the second or third chapter - I was ready to put it down.

Added bonus- If u like a book u been reading u can search for it over at the link I posted..
