| I was just going to say THE NAPPING HOUSE!!!!!" It has the most beautiful illustrations..............I originally bought it because I just loved the pictures. I loaned it to the toddler room when I worked at a childcare center..............I NEVER GOT IT BACK. They read it every day, and the kids just loved it!!! |

| My daughter just turned 2 and she LOVES books. Some of her favorites: anything by Eric Carle or Sandra Boynton Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes Time for Bed I love you, Goodnight Kiss Goodnight I love you little one Goodnight Gorilla Any of the Spot books by Eric Hill, lots of them have flaps to lift, she loves that Old Turtle Hairy Maclarey and Zachary Quack Ho Ho Ho Tucker and Lucky Tucker |

| I know you asked about the books awhile ago, but I am new. All of the books that were listed are great, but my absolute favorite books are SkippyJon Jones books. I don't remember the author but any bookstore should know them by name. You do have to read it with a fake accent though. All the children adore it and even adults get a kick out of it too! |
