Hi everyone, so here goes my first post.

Like many of you, I am going to stop going to Ralphs and hit up my local Pavilions, which I have been to only once in the last 2 years since Ralphs was closer. But anyway, I wanted to know exactly what Pavilions/Vons doubling policy is. Specifically:

1. Ralphs had this thing where they wouldn't double any coupons that required you to buy 2 of something. For example, "$1 off any Kraft item" would be doubled, but "$1 off any 2 Kraft items" would not. Does Pavilions do that as well?

2. Ralphs used to be strict about the "do not double" coupons. Is Pavilions strict with that too, or do they not care so much?

I have about 15-20 $1 coupons I am going to use at Pavilions in the next week or so, so any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've never had either problem - I guess I figure if it says do not double, and it does, I just got lucky. I don't' expect those to double. I've never had the first issue you have, and I shop Ralphs all the time!

Never had a problem - always used to get the buy 2 suave get $1.00 off - doubled $2.00 off 2 products! FREES!!!

I stopped shopping at Ralphs now too since they stopped doubleing coupons. So I took my business to Pavillions. But I 2 terrible experiences there too. One with a supervisor with a chip on his shoulder, who wouldn't take my internet coupons. He said it is in their employee manuals. What!!! How am I suppose to know what is in there employee manuals. Iasked him if they posted that information anywgere for non-employees to see, and he said no, we just don't except them. Then on Saturday I went there, and a visiting manager wouldn't take my $10/$50 or more coupon because she said it has to be $50 after coupons (even though it does not state that on the coupon) The she went through every coupon I had and looked at every product. I was horified! Then she tried to deny one coupon for $1 off any pledge item, because it has a picture of an areosol can, but I purchased the dry wipes. I had to point out to this MANAGER that it said ANY Pleadge item. They really should make sure their managers can read. I am writing a letter to corporate because that was just too much. Thanks for letting me rant!

tarasha1: where are you located in SoCal? I'm in Southern O.C. and I, too, have had it with Ralph's, and have been wanting to try Von's, but want to make sure to avoid the one you had problems with, if I can. Sorry to hear about your bad experiences!
