Only bought 3 things I needed for dinner, but what a great deal I got.

Foster Farms boneless/skinless chicken breast (Thin cut... my first time seeing this and I loved it). On sale for $5.99/lb. The pack I got was $8.81 Used IP for $.75 off, which they doubled to $1.00 off

Star Olive Oil - On sale for $6.99 Used a MQ I received from the company - FREE up to $4

Parsley $.69 Had a Ralphs catalina for $.50 off my purchase

So anyway, the cashier (who is the store manager) scanned the q for the olive oil. When it took off only $4 she said, "That's not right." I said, "Yes, it should only take off $4, the oil costs $6.99." She said, "Ralphs policy is that for any 'FREE' coupon, we take off the whole amount, so I'm taking off $6.99." She told me that "old school" cashiers like her know all the coupon rules and policies, so to make sure I always go to her line.

So... my total OOP was exactly $8. I saved $14.96!!!

I was sooo happy, and DH was thrilled!

I have had cashiers do that for me too! I had coupons for FREE up to $2.99. The item was priced $3.29. She discounted it for the whole amount.
