I seriously hope this isn't true.

I just got back from running to Ralphs (needed one roll of Crescent Rolls for dinner). I handed the cashier my IP (the good one for $1/1) and he tried to scan it and it wasn't working. He said, "We don't take printed coupons anymore."

I said, "Since when? I was just here on Sunday and used a bunch." He said since last night, that the store isn't taking them anymore. He manually deducted the $1 off my total, but I was irritated.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to ask at the Customer Service desk, but I think I'll call back tomorrow and ask the manager.

Anyone else hear anything about this?

I was just at Ralphs yesterday also doing the crescent rolls deal, and my cashier didn't say anything as I used a bunch of IPs. I will definitely ask the store manager next time I am in there if he has heard any rumblings. I really hope this isn't true, though!

My Ralphs in San Diego (Sports Arena) hasn't taken IPs in ages. I spoke to the store manager and he said it was because of fraud. You might try IPs at a different Ralphs.

Well I went back to my Ralphs today. I was using only one IP coupon today and I asked the cashier. She said she always puts through the IP coupons unless the computer says "fraudulent coupon" (which she says has happened). She said just to make sure to go to her line. She said she hasn't been told to not take them, and a lot of newer cashiers are told things that are wrong.

charitycase, I am in San Diego too and both Ralph's near me (one on Euclid and one on Woodman) take IPs. Are policies like that supposed to be on a store by store basis? I'd think if one took them, they all should take them.

This is strange since you can print coupons off their website! I think you had a cashier that didn't know what he was talking about! Tell them you printed them at Ralphs.com!

One of local Ralph's stores does not take IP coupons. All of the others do.
