Store no longer lets customers use same coupon many times on multiple items.

The Orange County Register As of today, Ralphs is scrapping a longtime perk at its Southern California stores, where shoppers could use double coupons on multiple items. For years, Ralphs has allowed customers to use one coupon an unlimited amount of times for multiple purchases of the same product. For example, one 75-cent coupon for Ziploc storage bags could be "doubled" three times for three Ziploc boxes. Now, customers can use the coupon only once per item, Ralphs spokesman Terry O'Neill said this morning.
The new policy went into effect today at 57 Ralphs in Orange County, O'Neill said. The move comes a month after Vons eliminated double coupons at 16 south-county stores.

Awesome perk, if I were there, I'd be pissed and miss it hugely! Wow, almost would have made it worth moving there!
