There are 198 stores in CA & NV.

Ads generally run WED thru TU, but differ occasionally (especially around Thanksgiving thru New Years, like other stores). Sometimes there are also 3 day ads in the Sunday paper (in the regular print section; not an insert). Ads are generally abundantly available in store (unlike what often happens @ Safeway, especially when there are in ad coupons).

Each of the 3 affiliated stores has a slightly different ad, but anything in 1 ad & not the others has been an unadvertised special in the others. GCs & Store Coupons are interchangeable. Raleys is the flagship store/name.

As with ALB, Safeway etc you can combine a Store coupon & a Mfr on an item. If a coupon exceeds the item price, whether or not you'll receive the overage (or the coupon will be price adjusted) will vary. There's no doubling/tripling of individual coupons, & competitor store coupons are not accepted.

IMO Raleys has the best Customer Service of any major grocery chain (& I've lived many places). There are many long term in store Employees. Generally the quality of their produce is better than other stores.

Everyday prices on most food items tend to generally be much higher than FoodMax, on par overall with Albertsons, & lower than Safeway. HBA & Rx prices tend to be higher than other stores.Overall there are less cherry picking opportunities than at Safeway & Albertsons re sales & Cat promotions.

Raleys does have excellent Hot Deals. Many weeks there are Raleys printables. Often these are for something free with any $10+ purchase. Some weeks these coupons have exclusions (eg GCs, alcohol, tobacco, dairy), but some weeks there are no stated exclusions. Postage stamps have not been excluded in a long time.

Occasionally the URL scheme changes on the coupons. It has been consistant for a while now. The current URL is:

07 = 2007
02 = February
21 = Wednesday the 21st.
When the next week's coupon is posted, you can generally find it by changing the URL date 7 days ahead to the following Wednesday. So next week's will likely be 070228 & the following one will likely be 070307.

Sometimes there are weeks with no coupons, but keep adding 7 days & checking. Once or twice a year the URL scheme changes. Once you know the new scheme, you can again start adding 7 days. Sometimes you can find a link surfing around the Raleys website, but it's often not an apparent link. Sometimes the link is only found by email subscription, but the email doesn't consistantly come every week.

The best recent in ad coupon deal (there have been similar printable ones in the past): Buy 3 Ambassador greeting cards & get a $10 store GC (limit 2 per transaction). There was an abundance of $1.39 cards, so x6 = $8.34 ($9.07 w/tax for us). $20 - $9.07 = $10.93 PROFIT per transaction!
