A clarification about Lurkers: I made the comment because I have talked to many different people while shopping and they say they love AFC and all the great deals but I never see any of them sharing....just taking. AFC is a community and it's only as good as all the people who help. I was very active with AFC before going back to college after losing my job. I went away for a while to concentrate on my studies and get my life back in order (A few of you were so nice and noticed my absence and supported me during my terrible life crisis...THANK YOU!). My comment was a call out - asking everyone to help occassionaly because it makes the savings for everyone go up. College is in order for me now and my life is going better than ever and I made a resolution to help out more on the boards so that others can benefit from great deals I put together. If you find a deal, post it and other will hopefully benefit from your skills and knowledge. Pay it forward if you use a deal and try to put one together for the next time around. FYI: You know I wasn't shopping while in college over the last year because there is no way to maintain a 3.76 GPA while carrying a fulltime + course load for a triple major, apply for 60+ scholarships, do an internship at the Science Museum of Minnesota, run our Landscaping Excavating company (mostly bookwork), be a Mom, send one daughter off to France to teach for a year, host a wedding for the other daughter, help her move to South Dakota, etc. I made out ok without shopping and putting my attention towards school because my scholarship applications have paid for my tuition + put $4000.00 in my pocket each trimester...no loans...just grants and scholarships. Not bad for a $26,000 a year college. College is the ultimate FREEBIE! I love all of you who have helped and supported me during this tough time. I am planning to attend the Minnesota get together next weekend. Hoping to meet a few of you in person.

The new St Louis Park Rainbow (on 100 & 394 - by Costco) is always well-stocked, even at night. I go on Wednesdays after my evening class (around 8) and the shelves are full of the sale products. Their new registers automatically adjust the value of the doubling to the item price, so no overage, but I like having a good product selection. The regular price of the Glade plug in scented gel warmers is $1.99, so I have been using the $1/1 from the earlier Cub catalina deal (in the Glade scented gel warmer packages) to fill up my 5 doubles if I need to. |

14 total: 4 Ham/Turkey deals - These deals ran about $5.50 each 4 Gillette deals - These deals ran about $7.00 each 6 Cup/Coffee/Chinet Crystal deals/Ronzoni - These deals ran about $2.50 each depending on what veggies and fruit I added to it to get to $25 I went to four different stores to do the three deals and then I went with my sister-in-law last night to finish up. I will try to get deals posted earlier next week so you can see the plan in advance.
