I have bought them and never had a problem...it has a lot to do with the COOK! Just like Turkey...I have never had a dry turkey in my life and have cooked all the different kinds and brands but yet people complain about that...so I personally think it is how you cook...This is a good deal...it is just so hard for me to commit ...With Couponing we get so used to paying so little so you know $40 bucks for a 20 lb ham!!!!! I think I will be though since my daughter is coming for Christmas with my grandbaby and SIL and she adores ham...

Has anyone had a chance to check this out? I'm curious how big the hams are--is there a range or are they all 20lbs like suggested above? Thank you!

I quickly looked yesterday when I went for the 1 day sale. The cheapest I saw was $13 but most were around $19.

|
cooks hams are the only ones we will ever buy. Never a problem, always juicy - they are not fatty, stringy or salty. Very good, IMO.

Wow! They have small ones!! I am so used to Cub and when they have ham deals they are always HUGE ones and like an investment...40-50 dolllars!! 13-19 dollars WOW!!!!!!

I found a coupon in Family Circle magazine, November 29, 2009 for $1.00 off a Cooks Ham. Says "Do Not Double." I am going to try and find one for around $13.00 and then get the other items free - $12.00+ - not so bad. Helps me to get to the $25 spend on Wednesday. |

Most of the hams at my store were right around $20 as well.

Cooks are generally great hams, although I'm not a fan of the butt/shank portion. I did this deal today and bought a $13.00 ham and got a 12lb turkey plus extras. I would like to do this again this week as a freezer meal staple.
