For all you people who need diapers -

I was at the Rainbow in Plymouth and they had some Roundy's brand diapers on sale for 75% Off !!

Size 3 - Size 4 - Size 5
These are large package sizes vary depending on age (one was 52 pack)

Regular price was $15.49 - there was a small sign on one with the sale price of $3.82, but not the others

If you look at the shelf sticker there is a big "DISC" written on the end so you can't miss it

Don't know if this is all Rainbow or not so YMMV
but hurry they won't last long.

Wow that is a great deal. I did look at one store and they had Huggies marked down 50%, not cheap enough for me, but maybe it will be cheaper next time.

I think the jumbo packs were marked to $9.xx down for $18.xx. I think I recall size 5 having 40 diapers.

Has anyone else found the clearanced Roundys diapers?

I looked today and didn't see any Roundys diapers clearance, but they had Luvs Jumbo size marked $5.xx down from $11.xx

Does everyone know that you can use Pamper's coupons for Luvs as they are from the same manufacturer? I did this and got 60 size 3 Luvs for $3.xx

I have been doing this for a year now and never had a problem
I really recommend Luvs to anyone that likes Pampers but wants a cheaper option. DD breaks out in diaper rash from Wal-greens diapers, Target diapers, basically every diaper but Pampers and Luvs. (We have not yet tried Huggies though)

But is that allowed/legal using a pampers coupon for a luvs diaper even if it says on the coupon that is $ off on pampers ?

I am really not sure, I guess. I read it on another forum. I have never had a cashier even blink an eye. I have also never had it beep when scanned. If it wasn't allowed/legal, then it would beep when the casher tried to scan the Q.

Also, at the bottom of the receipt, where it shows the coupons that you used, it reads
"MC LUVS DIAPERS 1.00- "

You are getting into a "gray area"
Does it "work"? - Yes
Does using a coupon from 1989 "work"? - Yes

Now - are you suppose to do either? - No
Is it coupon fraud - technically, yes

The wording on a coupon is always suppose to govern its correct usage - the UPC is just a "tool" to help the retailers. The problem is retailers rely on this "tool" to speed up checkout and no longer "read" coupons like they probably did 20 - 30 years ago.

Thanks for the heads up on the diapers. I'll have to check this out tomorrow especially if I need something extra to hit 25.

Has anyone used these diapers? We use Walgreens during the day (best generics we have ever used) and Extra Protection Pampers at night.
