So sorry if this has been asked before! I searched and didn't find it.

Since the cats are mani q's can I use them at Rainbow? I use expired Rainbow milk cats all the time at Cub with no problem but they are super relaxed at my Cub and never bat an eye. If I can I was thinking of doing this:

8 wishbone 11.92 get 4 free salad
2 hellmans 6.00 get 1 free bread
4 ragu 8.00 get 2 free pasta

use:
8 $1/1 wishbone (5 doubled)
2 $1/1 hellmans
4 $.55/ 1 ragu
1 $7 cat

total BC 25.92
total AC 1.42 and get a $7 cat back

Think it will work?

I highly doubt it as they are more strict than my Cub is, but it doesn't hurt to ask or try.

Okay, we will see how this goes tomorrow. I called my Rainbow (Maplewood) and spoke with the CS rep. She said that because they ARE mani q's that they WILL take them. She had to ask the manager because she didn't know the answer. I'm gonna go right away in the a.m. I'll let you know how it goes for me. If the cats can be rolled between stores that sure would be great for my OOP!

I just threw away 2 expired milk cats from Rainbow - AAGGHH!!! Gotta go dig through the recycling now...

ETA: FOUND THEM! It sure doesn't hurt to try. I was so bummed that I didn't get to the store that day - something came up and I couldn't go. They both expired on 7/08 and I thought there was no way I could use them. Thank goodness I read that tonight - I had just recycled them this afternoon!

I use them at Cub all the time. I did roll my Cub ones at Rainbow last week! The cashiers had to clear it with the manager but they are manufacturer q's and they do scan perfectly fine. YMMV depending on your store and their knowledge of how q's work and of course their willingness to listen. It was sweet for me because it kept my OOP very low and I got a cats back from Rainbow that I rolled at Cub. I think I need a vacation now!

Me too! I go pretty early. I really like that store... they have alot of tear pads! And the food for fuel books. The one thing I cannot find is the Kraft book I keep hearing about!

That would be so nice! Which Cub did you find them at? I saw the bus at the maplewood one last night but no books.
