I just got a Back To School mailer with a $5/$30 q and it looks like they will have some cereal BOGO starting on Thursday. I have two q's that work with this deal - Post Cereal, $1/2 and Kellogg's Cereal, $1/3. The other better Kellogg's q's don't match with the types of cereal on sale. Boo... So I was planning to get Honey Nut Cheerios and Cinnamon Toast Crunch (4 boxes total) with the Post q $1/2... And Kellogg's Frosted Flakes and Apple Jacks (6 boxes total) with the $1/3. Thoughts, tips?? Thanks!!

I have noticed how crap the cereal coupons have gotten, Bring back the 1/1. I'm heading to Winndixie for cereal this week. I believe it's .50 cheaper for the cheerios.

I wish there was a Winndixie near me... I know there are people who get way better deals on cereal (like less than $1 per box) but I am happy when it's under $2 per box!

The cereal deals have definitely been lacking lately. I was lucky enough to print 2 of the $5/5 Kellogg's coupons when they were available, so I got 10 boxes at Kroger for $0.99 each last week. I need Cheerios though, so I'm going to pick up a few things from this week's sale tonight and price check those to see if they'll be a good deal with the $0.50/1coupons.

My stockup price for cereal is $1.50 per box. I typically don't let the fam eat stuff like Trix, etc (except on vacations) so getting anything that we do eat for less than $1.50 is rare. I got all stocked up on Rice Krispies and Crispix though bc of the gas card promos!

Yea I don't miss Oklahoma, But the double coupons was rocking. So 1.50 if a good deal. If you are pairing it with the 5 off 30 you are coming out even better. I am waiting to use my 5 off 30 for a meat sale.

Well I got 12 boxes (6 Kelloggs and 6 Post) which were all right around $4 per box full price. I used three $1/2 mfqs and two $1/3 mfqs. My total was (sale price) $24.24 before mfqs, $19.24 after so that's $1.60 per box. AND two of my Kellogg's boxes have the Car's codes that I've been collecting... now I have 9 codes total from this purchase and previous purchases.

I'm thinking of getting my son the spy pens since he can share them with the neighbor kids to send secret messages to each other. Oh, and I have a total DUH moment - I just bought all of this cereal and totally forgot that we needed milk. Guess I'll be going back!!
