I thought it would be fun to poll everyone and see how many of the $4 of GM products (if your store let you use it like this and not just on cereal and granola) coupons you have used this week.

I have used 9. All in one transaction too! I love my neighborhood Publix!

I spent $15 oop today on $107 worth of groceries!! Yeah!!! I got a lot of cornbread mix for donating to the local food bank. As well as yogurt and planko bread crumbs.

umm....almost ashamed to say....I have used 37 so far! 5 in my first trip, 18 in my second, and 14 in my third! Plan to use some more tomorrow! I have tons of food to donate to our food bank for their Thanksgiving now!

My husband went and used 1 on banana cheerios on the first day (thursday). I realized those weren't 4/10 when he got home and I returned them the next day but they only gave me $2.39 back per box because he had used the GM coupon and a $1/1 coupon. I didn't think that was right but let it slide.... (they are getting the money back for me using the coupon even though I returned the product).

That afternoon (thursday) I used 2 of the coupons on the nut clusters and muir glen with no problem, but this was not my regular store.

Friday I tried to buy a whole bunch of gm stuff at my regular store with the coupon and was refused. I had even clarified it with the manager first but when they saw all I wanted to buy they flipped out. I left it all on the conveyor and went home.

saturday I went back to the store I went to thursday thinking I'd be able to buy everything there with no problem. the same manager who was there thursday was even there and she recognized me too. but the cashier freaked out and they refused to take it. I managed to convince them to take 1 - for cascadian farms granola bars b/c while I was standing there arguing with them they said "it's only for cereal or bars"

then they didn't want to take my albertsons q for 5/50 because now I was at less then $50... I said "well, now you're just penalizing me for using coupons" and they agreed and let me use it (but not happily....)

anyway - I used 4 altogether (including the 1st one which I returned the product for)and I am not going to use it again

PS needless to say I'm a little annoyed about the way the whole thing was handled and thinking of calling corporate. Even if they did screw up (which I get and sympathize) they should have all been on the same page on how to handle it....

I have only used two so far. Looking for more coupons so that I can buy the nut clusters. If you haven't tried them, I would suggest that you do. Those things are sooo good

So far I have only used 2. I was planning on buying something every day, but then we got sick! I am going to see if I can still use it today and if so I will be buying a bunch of beans and muffin mix!

This is my first time really using coupons but I feel like I started out great! I have used 36! I used 10 the first time, 12 the second, and 14 the third. I make sure to ask each time I go in how the coupons work to make sure they haven't changed and I haven't had a single problem using them. For all three trips the total = $331 but thanks to all my coupons I have only spent $40 OOP!!! I was going to use 20 on my third trip but they were running low on just about everything I had on my list.

If the manager said it's okay, and if you changed your mind and wanted to use it again, maybe you can get the note from the manager saying it's okay. You can show it to the cashiers.

no - the managers changed their minds... not me....

oh I get it, if I changed my mind about *trying* to use it LOL...

no - the manager at both stores changed what they said from when I walked in to when I went to check out.

IMO that is not okay, but what can I do?

I've used 14 so far. 10 is the most I used at once and that was on my first trip.

Hold on you can use that for any gm product or just the cereal? I've been out for a while.

Well today was the last day for us Floridians and I am kicking myself for not using this q in the beginning of the week b/c I had to make several trips the past 2 days so the cashiers wouldn't flip out if I handed them 40 of these q's at one time. So I used 1 the first time 10 the second time, three the third time, and again 10 the last three times. Believe it or not the biggest trouble I received was when I used the 3 on the third trip. Well we have plenty of baking goods for the holidays!!

I am also kicking myself for not realizing the potential of the coupon earlier in the week. My DD and I went after class last night about an hour before the store closed. I was surprised there was plenty of everything we wanted. I used 10 of the $4.00 coupons plus my pile of manu coupons. Spent $18.13 saved $97.25....I love my Publix! Just wish I could do that again!

I used a total of 21 and had no problems with any until last night the cashier and the lady manager (?) could not figure out what I was doing. I had everything in 4's with coupons in the order (I even had a print out of the 4's and what my total after coupons would be for that group and then grand end total) and she took my coupons and put them all out of order and was saying I could not use this and that one because it would put overage on it and it was not even for that item , I think once they realized that the coupons I had were legit for everything - I had 5 publix employees around me and the lady manager (? she was in regular clothes) was not nice but was not mean and just rang everything up and then took off coupons, she shorted me a 4.00 coupon so I had to go back up and get my 4.00. Just started this publix thing usualy I go to target or foodlion for groceries but the bag boy was really nice and kept apoligizing for how my trip went and said he hoped that it did not discourage me to come back and shop at Publix. I spent I saved 107.00 and spent $8.98 I am very happy with the stocked up pantry and fridge full of yogurt which the kids will go through very very fast! Also whoever posted the Genral Mills brand products list thanks so much because this made all my shopping trips go smoothe other than the one above.

I used A LOT of these, too many to count (I ended up going to PUBLIX way too many times in the last couple of days too, didnt realize how valuable this coupon was until the end!). Had 18 just on my trip last night. I saved 150.00 last night, and spent 11.00 out of pocket, which besides GM products also included, 2 big tubs of Enfamil, a big box of Tampax, 2 Dove deodorants, and 2 subs from the deli. basically everything was the price of less than what the deli bill should have been.
