I've received my weekly ad in today's mail and when I noticed the $4 off 4 GM or Nature Valley products store coupon (madmurphy mentioned this before in her OP) I started to think about a cereal deal to get the movie tickets.

Great idea! If your store will let you get away with a triple play, there's still a $1/2 GM Target Q in the generator which would make your OOP Free!
I have $1/1 Total Q's and one each of the $1/1 Cheerios Q's from the mailer. How did you end up with two?

There was a $1/1 Uncle Ben's whole grain brown rice in the Parade magazine a few weeks ago. I already used all mine. If it's not expired and if your Publix will allow the overage, could be nice!

I need more cereal like I need a hole in my head but at least we eat it so I'll be picking up some GM cereal. LOL

I'm also glad the Perdue chicken is BOGO, awesome thing to have around for ds on nights we're having something he's not ready to eat yet. I can also take advantage of the Perdue/Transformers rebate.

Not too many other things I see this week that we'll really need, but some good deals to be had.

Im sure I'll get "THE" look from my husband about the cereal, but when we have alot of free movie date nights it should ease the blow. I have 20 GM ceral q's, combined with the Target q, the $4/4 Publix q & several $5/50q's that is dirt cheap cereal & movie tickets. Im sure there will be a ton of mini trips this week to Publix!! Wish me luck this is my first major stock pile week...

I don't remember what promotion it was, but I got a honey nut Cheerios sample in the mail the other day and it came with like 5 coupons. One for Honey Nut Cheerios and the others for the other type cheerios I mentioned. My friend's husband got the same mailer around the same time, too. Unfortunately our Publix stores won't let us use any Target coupons as competitor's coupons, so no zero OOP for me, but thanks for the idea. I'm sure there are a lot of folks out there that could do the deal the way you suggested it.

I don't know if anyone has posted this or not, but if you have I apologize in advance. Keep in mind that with the 4 General Mills products and the $4 off coupon in the flyer, you do NOT have to have the same products. For instance, today I bought 2 hamburger helpers at $1.59 each and 2 yoplait yogurts at 0.60 each. The total was $4.38 less the $4 for an OOP of 0.38.

On my first trip to Publix, I had 4 of the same items and used coupons and then the ad. On my second trip to Publix I stacked more expensive items with the yogurt to get as close to the $4 as possible.

Today, in two separate trips, I spent a total of $19.60. Vendor coupons were $38.87. Store coupons were $92. Advertised specials were $36.33. Total savings: $167.20. Not to shabby for being a noob at this.

BTW, my Publix store was great although there was some question about the yoplait initially. I'm glad I printed out the list from the internet, since GM was on the container. The cashier and manager asked if I wanted to shop for them. Oh, as far as the yogurt make sure it's the regular kind. The light and fluffy or whip stuff is only 4 oz.

How are you figuring it only will cost .05 cents? If it is $1.89 BOGO, 2 .50 cent Q's would make it .89 cents for 2. What am I missing?

Has anyone been able to print the Emerald Nuts coupon? I've tried multiple times every day this week and always get a message that they've already printed the maximum amount of coupons for that day and to check back later.
