can someone help me im confused i want to do the scenario but instead of 6 i want to do 12 and i feel like my math is wrong

12 Crescent Rolls @ $1.00=12.00
6 Shopping Bags @ $.99=5.94
5 little packs Ramen noodles @ $.22=$1.10
Grand Total=34.04

- $1.00 X 4 (soup) for every 3
- $1.00 X 12 (Crescent rolls)
- $1.00 X 12 (Publix bread coupon)
- $.99 X 6 (Shopping bags)
- $5.00 off $25 from CVS
Grand Total=38.94

38.94-34.04=$4.90 overage towards something else and there are enough coupons to cover everything so they should all go through because there is "1 coupon per item"

I did this last night and had no problems taking the coupons. But when I got home, I noticed that my crescent rolls rang up @ $1.99 each. Yes, you should get all of them free. I once had a bag of pistachios that had a sticker hanging from the shelf saying it was $5.99 and when she rang it up it said $13.99. I told them that it said $5.99 so they sent someone to check it and it was for that price. They then said that it shouldn't have been there. I really didnt care if it should have been there or not. But they gave me $13.99 big bag of pistachios for FREE!!!!!!!

if you get more than one item that rings up the wrong price, they give you the first one free, then the others at the advertised price.

Darn it! I went to publix tonight to do the deal and the manager put a stop on the whole thing. Would only allow me to use ONE of the publix pillsbury bread coupon. He stated that they were just briefed on their policy of only allowing one publix coupon per CUSTOMER. I was doing several other deals using coupons out of the same booklet including the $1.00 off orange juice when you buy GM cereal. UGH. My BFF who was there got really upset and didnt end up buying any of her stuff. I went ahead with my deal and he did allow me to use a $10 off $40 sweetbay coupon and a $5 off $50 Albertsons coupons which made up for the problem but still a bummer... I think I might try a different publix before wednesday.

Anyone else have an issue??

Girl.. I need to go to Belleview. Did you go to the tall cashier with brown hair? She is excellent. I was at the one south of that by the hospital. I couldnt believe it, they have been excellent in the past.

Im gonna try again at Belleview. Still a good deal but not anywhere near as good of a deal as it is with all the coupons. Plus I didnt get my pretty pink bags! grrrr

This is a great deal indeed, thanks madmurphy! I'm not in the land of doubles though and I have limited coupons.
I think I will be able to get 1 bag, 3 Pillsbury and 3 Progresso for $0.25 moneymaker. So far I have (3) $1/1 IPs for Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls(printed them a while back) and the Publix coupons. I will try to get the $1/3 Progresso coupon. If you have any better scenario with just (3) Pillsbury $1/1 IPs, please let me know.

You've figured out the best scenario I can think of with the coupons.

There are a couple $1.10 printables for the Progresso Soup at coupons.com and smartsource.com. That's an extra $.10 savings.

And there are some $1/2 Crescent Rolls and Grands at those sites, too. While it's not a MM, those will help you get some very inexpensive soup/rolls/shopping bags. And you don't need to be in the land of doubles to benefit from the $1/2 savings.

I am indeed currently very interested in getting more inexpensive soups and other non-perishable items, because we have a local event here coming up for a food drive in our county www.fieldoffood.org
This is in conjunction with the homeless shelter/outreach center I've been donating to for years, so I have a "one stop, (not just) one store" drop off place for all my accumulated goodies from Publix, CVS, Wags, Target and KMart(doubles).
