Hi Everyone.

Quick background why I tried them:

I am supposed to be "taking it easy". Not working and not playing to hard. I got whiplash a few months ago. Anyways... I have a prescription for painkillers. Percocet and vicodin. I don't like taking them. I do when I have to. Which is now sometimes only a half a pill a day. Thank Goodness...

So, I figure for price of Free I will give the SalonPas a try. And here is the review:

They do nothing for the pain in my neck and the upper back area. It feels very cooling and doesn't smell bad. But this is where the worst pain and discomfort is for me.
They do seam to help with the mid to lower pain I have in my back. The effect wasn't immediately upon putting it on. It took about an hour for me to notice I felt discomfort and only slight ache. It helps when I'm sitting still but not if I'm up and about.

Please take the poll to give your input for the review.

Prescription Pain Patch Great for Gout

Weatie:

My M-I-L stayed with us recently. At 89, she enjoys a Margarita every evening on the front porch before dinner. This isn't the best thing for her gout but I ain't cuttin her off (I owe her for giving me my husband!).

So, I try to impress her with my homemade dinner rolls. These are made with yeast which can trigger gout attacks.

Ouch!

We found out real quick the advantages of these patches to soothe the pain in her toe.

Free is free and having them on hand helped us out of a pinch.

Best,

LizzyBizzy

I am headed out to buy them today. I am hoping they will help my knee (I have rehumatoid arthritis and a small torn piece of cartilage) and my knee is constantly hurting after a full day of walking, which is what I do for work.

When I picked them up I saw 2 versions. One for muscle pain and one specified for arthritis pain.
