Does the Magic Eraser Mop dissolve like the little Magic Eraser sponges do? Because that seems weird--to have my mop dissolve. So I've not bought a refill for my Mr. Clean mop handle for that reason.

Also, when I had a Swiffer-type mop, I bought refills at Dollar Tree that were good enough. I haven't checked lately since my husband didn't think the fake Swiffer was worth taking with us when we moved.

I was going to post that I must be one of the few that did not like this mophead - not because of the job that it did (although I expected better) but because it did not last very long. I went back to a traditional sponge mophead with a scrubber strip - I think it's Clorox brand that I got at Target.

Are there other mop head refills (that are not Magic Eraser) that fit the Mr. Clean handle? I could not find any besides the Magic Eraser refills, which apparently don't last long, as I suspected. I was planning to pitch my Mr. Clean mop soon, unless I come across longer lasting refills for it.

When my family and I moved into our new house, the first thing I bought before we even brought a shoe into the house was this miracle mop. It IS wonderful! Like a giant Magic Eraser on the end of a stick... EVERYTHING comes up! I have a small dog, a teenage stepdaughter, and a husband who may be a teenager on most days and everything from doggie messes, nailpolish, makeup, and food comes up! I used to like Swiffer, but compared to this... it's NOTHING! :-)

I have one and love it. Refills last a long time. I don't have to change it for months at a time.
