Revlon ColorSilk Hair color

I bought Revlon ColorSilk Hair color at Walgreens and it was only $0.99. Has anyone ever used this product? Did you like it? I don't want my hair to turn to straw...seeing that it was so inexpensive.

That's what I use, it's fine. Isn't there a mfg coupon for this? I may have already used it, but it's still a great deal @ 1.99 less the reg rwds.

I use it for touch ups. It doesn't last very long, .99 cents is all it is worth in my eyes. I used to love Ultress but they took it off the market. When they said it covered gray hair they meant it.

You can get more coupons in the Beauty Book near the Kmart Pharmacy. I plan to go tomorrow to get some more because you can't beat the price.

I've used it and it does a pretty good job of covering gray. It just doesn't last very long.

I use Revlon Colorsilk all the time. I switched to it when Clairol Nice and Easy went up in price. It works just as well as the high priced brands that I used to use. My hair always comes out soft and shiny.

I use this all the time just bc it is lower in price than others. I don't think it damages my hair.

I Find Revlon's Colorsilk Reliable

I always use this brand. I was afraid when I first started coloring my hair because I grew up as a true red-head (actually auburn) and for redheads, the red coloring can be difficult to match to your true color. Anyway, I was very lucky when on the first try the match was just great! It does not damage my hair and I trust it now that I have been using it a long while. By the way, I use a Clairol product - Nice 'n Easy Colorseal, which is a weekly conditioning gloss - after every shampoo. That seems to help the Colorsilk color last a little longer. Good luck with yours!

Yes I have used it, it is an amazing product, for the price that it cost. I usually spend about $2.97 on it at Walmart but my hair has never felt like straw or fallen out or anything like that. It is great, the only thing is if you are doing blonde or brown or a similiar shade to those then it will last long if you are doing red or burgundy then it only last about month and then you have to re-dye.

I reference to your question, I have been using revlon colorsilk for some yearts now and i never had a problem with it....It is a very good product the only way that your hair would turn strawbery blond is being in the sun and if you have red hair. If you go to your local walmart they usually have it 2/for $5.

I have black hair and its about to go through a dramatic color change because i have greys to more than i want to see.

You got a great bargain for .99 cents! I think the cheapest I found it was for $1.50.

I've been using Revlon Colorsilk for quite a few years. I love it! It covers my grey, the product doesn't smell, doesn't drip all over the place, and the conditoner is fantastic! I usually try the different dark brown colors and they're all fantastic!

Thick!

I like that it doesn't drip everywhere, but the color seems a little flat compared to some of the new formulas that have shown up in the past 2 years.

I have been using revlon colorsilk once a month for about 12 years now. I love it. it's cheap, but looks great. every time i go to get my hair cut, the hair dressers always ask if it's my natural color and when I tell them it's not they always say "wow, you must deep condition you hair a lot." I don't. I just leave the conditioner that comes in the box with it on for 3mins before rinsing it out. hope this helps. wish I could find it for that cheap. i usually pay about 3 bucks.
