| Danonino...what is the point!!!
I was buying my kids yogurt yesterday and noticed the Danonno was on sale $2. I decide to use my $1 coupon but as soon as I picked up the package I was IN SHOCK. The individual container is 1.75 oz of yogurt! That is not worth $1 even for 6. The other kid yogurts are 4 oz cups...I do not understand how a child can be satisfied with 1.75 oz of yogurt or how they can justify all that plastic packaging for a SHOT of yogurt. I'd understand if it was some immunity boost shot of probiotics, but this is a kids yogurt. What gives???

I wondered about this product and did some research. It's not a yogurt, it's a dairy snack, more like a fresh cheese. It is packaged for 2-4 year olds to provide them with calcium. It is supposed to have twice the calcium of milk. Since it is not yogurt, it does not have probiotics or active cultures. It is a small package since it is much denser than yogurt, so a 2-4 yr old would probably not eat more than a small cup. My 15 month old like the vanilla-flavored one, and even though he is a big eater, he couldn't finish one cup.

My kids really like them too. They love yogurt and eat it every morning, so they were excited about these. My main goal is to get them calcium since they don't drink milk, and the size is perfect for little ones.
