I dont want to sound rude at all. Has anyone checked with their vets to see if this one is good for dogs? I have never heard of this brand and it makes me wonder. Last year my son used Hartz on his dog and it almost killed the dog it was so toxic. I know of the Hartz brand so that is why I wonder what Adams is. I would hate to see anyone go thru what my sons puppy went thru it was sad he did come out ok but it could have done perminent (sp) damage or even killed him.

This is my 2 cent and it doesn't count for much , but I stopped by the pet shop on 73 in denver, nc it is high end for pets. They carrie these products also. For me that is a plus sign. I think they are extremly picky about what they carry.
I also ordered some Dea flea , I love this stuff - awesome . I got hooked on it when our lab was a puppy. It is worth every penny.

Now on the other hand, it can be like everything else and depend on your pet too. Some pets can be in grass or this or that.
So I think that is a - up to you call --

You should never give a puppy any type of meds or collars without consulting your vet first dosages for any puppy are based on the dogs weight and often age regardless of who makes the product .

This q is also good for cats too. Thought I'd let you know. I have been using the Adams stuff and no problems, 1 cat and 2 dogs.

umm sorry my fault, dea flea is a all natural shampoo . That is awesome for puppies or grown dogs.

It works great. Our puppies/ dogs like to play outside and inside so this works well them and our vet has not said a word about.

AGAIN this coupon is for the SPOT ON stuff... not the collars.... the spot on is about $11.98 at our Walmart... so it will save you money, but it is NOT a MM....
BTW... I recently used the Hartz spot on "silver" stuff on my pups and it gave them a TERRIBLE reaction... they itched and whined and ran in circles for about an hour and then we decided to wash them all and try to remove the stuff... well... after about 3 days it finally cleared up... got to the vet yesterday (with one pup for a regular check up) and we told him our experience... he said that we did the right thing to try to wash it off and to stay away from ANY product that has "pyrethrius" in it... which the Hartz does... He said that Pyrethrius is absorbed through the dogs liver and it was very bad for most dogs, but especially Chihuahuas (which we have 4)... so we learned our lesson.... ALWAYS consult the vet FIRST about products!! I don't know if Adams has this Pyrethrius or not... but PLEASE be cautious...
FYI... we also learned that Frontline kills fleas and ticks ON contact... they just land on the skin of your pet and they will die... but according to our vet, with use of other products, the flea or tick actually has to BITE your pet first and then it will be killed.... INTERESTING, huh?
