I cna't print SS from here as for some reason the printer never activates, but I cn ado it directly from SS.

I couldn't do it no matter where I tried to print from.. it was very frustrating to say the least! I am a happy camper now. I just have toplug the other one up to scan some pics every once in a while!

I have aol and have the same problem no smartsource when i have walmart i could print all coupons and then we got this new computer for more memory and had to switch to aol. What happens no more smartsource. I had to go to the home page for the live active cereal to ask them to send me a coupon they ask what server and browser i was using and they emailed me back and said they would gladly send me a coupon. I went on live active cereal.com

I used to be able to print from SS just fine until I downloaded the Firefox 3, now it's a NO GO. When I try to download that coupon printer, a window pops up and says it is not compatible with Firefox 3. I even try to print on IE and it's a no go also. But, I could print from those browsers before Firefox 3.

Does anyone know when/if you can print IP qs again if you printed 2 before? I thought they "reset" every 30 days or so but when I tried to print Buddies again it wouldn't let me. I know it's been more than 30 days because my previous qs are expired now... I thought I read it somewhere the links are active again after 30 days from your last print. Is that true? I want more buddies qs

I have no idea. I just try to print and if it works then hooray. But I have been told that I spend way too much time searching for coupons... husbands...go figure!

IDK how often they reset, but you can printfrom other computers ( mom's, laptop, library, ect...)

It seems like they can be different. Some do seem to reset every 30 days, while others Never seem to!

Great info. I never thought about going to the library. When you use the computer to print does it require you to put your email address or does it just let you print? I live only 5 minutes from my library so it may be worth it to go there for the really good coupons.

Sometimes public computers (in library or school) only let you log in as a non-administrator and you cannot install the coupon printer when you are not an administrator It is worth a try...

Someone mentioned if you use firefox instead of IE it will work - haven't tried it though.

i also cut and paste to an e-mail send to a loop of friends the q's they can use they keep the ones they don't i ask them to print for me..

I received the letter from RedPlum (Valassis).
They were more than willing to write a letter for us and they are even using my idea of posting it on their website.
They approached the letter from a different angle. (than Smartsource)
They feel that retails need to be educated on IP coupons. Once their knowledge level increases so will their comfort level.
Therefore there was no reason to approach this as an issue, rather supply them with information.

I have 3 tips to add to this:
Name brand ink versus off brand/unbranded. Sometimes it does not lay into/onto the paper correctly & causes problems.

Good quality paper. I've noted the cheapo stuff from Big Lots causes big problems w my Epson printers.

Make sure to change your printer properties from Draft to Image & Text. This will decrease the ink droplet size, smaller & more compact, resulting in a cleaner image. Yes, this take a little more ink, but a Much better product results.

The Most Common Mistake people make when printing their own pics @ home: Same thing if you print your own pictures off your printer @ home: make sure to get into your printer properties & set it to Best Picture, NOT draft, etc. You will have a professioinal looking printed pic that should rival Wags, WM, etc. photo printing counters, providing you have a decent printer. Just make sure to go back into the printer properties & reset, when done printing your pics.

Some of my Qs have printed out really light (low ink) because I forgot to adjust the ink setting before printing. But they scanned at the store no problem. I did have one shopping trip last week during which my Qs needed multiple attempts to scan properly, but I think it's because the "eye" at the checkout was super dirty!

Incidentally, I slightly crumple my printed Qs. The first few weeks I used IPs, some of my Q totals were off and I finally discovered it was due to the IP Qs sticking together (so not all of them were being scanned!). So now I crumple (like you do with new bills from the ATM) and no more problems. I do this with some of the shiny, thick snail mail Qs too, when I have multiples in a stack.

If you go to google and search for site:bricks.coupons.com it will list the bricks coupons. They are listed by individual site and you have to click to see what they are, but it is time well spent. Who knew there was a Q for WD-40?

Update: I forgot to tell ya'll to click on "repeat the search with omitted results included". You can also narrow your search by brand. Say I was looking for Johnsons (because we all need more buddies bars) I would type "johnsons" site:bricks.coupons.com and then click on repeat search again. It doesn't work on everything though.

Don't search using the word "site" only enter bricks.coupons.com. This is how it worked for me.
