I have done it in the past...buy a $25 gc and get $50 credit toward gas dollar total(so ten cents). I have seen people buy several hundered dollars wourth(Sears I believe) but they had to show id at customer service for a large amount. If you were doing Christmas shopping it might be worth it. But take into account price of gas...split a large purchase with a fill up between.

Don't forget - think about getting them not only to use as gifts, but also to use to BUY gifts (or whatever else you need to get, even for you own use).

In other words - if you plan to go to store x and spend $200 on some items, buy $200 of gift cards for that store at Price Chopper first, then go spend the gift cards at store x for the items.

You'll get the items at the same price at store x as you would have paying cash or credit card, plus a few cents (in this example $0.80 per gallon) off your gas, with the only extra "cost" being the few minutes at PC to buy the cards.

Got 40 cans of del monte assorted tomatoes 14.5 oz can for 10.00!!!!
I used coupon .75 off 2 cans and it doubles and they were on sale for 10 for 10. I still dont know what i'm going to do with all them tomatoes.

Yes, and buy them with your credit card you use for miles or Disney rewards if you can pay it off right away to earn gas + extra rewards. Is it possible to double dip and buy the Visa gift card and then buy groceries AT PC with it? Will you still get gas credit with those grocery purchases, does anyone know? They also have Toys R Us gift cards. Was thinking of getting some after I map out my black Friday plan.

HOT COUPON Tearpad at Price Chopper in Saratoga on Ballston Ave (the one where Rite Aid is). Coupon for $.75 off NEW flavorful (or something to that effect) cracker barrel cheese. CB cheese is on sale for $1.88 for a 10oz block. Q doubles to $1.50 so $.38 for CB cheese. I got jalapeno and cracked pepper! The tearpad is in the goldfish aisle. Great if you have to take a cheese tray to a party to get some fun flavors & have them on hand for cheap!

You can also buy cash cards, and use them on your order at PC to double dip! I've done this before when they have had the $5 off (since there is an activation fee, you'd want to buy the largest amount and pay the fee only once. something like $3.99 to activate.)

There are also 2 P&G Gas catalinas, to save money off per gallon of gas, but I always feel liike these prices are much higher than I am willing to spend. If you have the 11/27 P&G, there is a $1 Olay soap or body wash q inside. My PC has single Olay soaps in the dollar soap/deodorant section for only $1. Use this coupon to get them free! (limit of 4 like coupons per shopping trip...no rush this isn't a weekly sale, so if your store is out, you can try to order some.) Just use only 4 coupons at a time.

Yes PC will take Riteaid coupons. Any store within that 'city' is how my store explained. I asked if it was only grocery stores and they said all large stores. I even listed stores and they said yes to every store I could think of.

Price Chopper double coupons you won't find in the store flyers as you enter the store like you do Tops, you have to get them from the paper.

Didn't see either of these:

Price Chopper has posted on their Facebook page 2 Double ANY coupon up to $1 (which includes $1, obviously, since they already do those under $1) good for today (12/9) and tomorrow (12/10).

AND

In the ad for 12/11-12/17, there are 2 more of these $1 doublers - our ad is for the Hudson (NY) area, but this 1/2 page says at all Price Chooper stores, so you'll probably see it also.
