slugmama has posted more than 50 good deals
This is my 1st post so please be gentle. I shop at the PCs around Wilkes-Barre PA.

I did the Price Chopper Unilever deal on friday 3 times....hubby helped and did 1 transaction for me. The 1st transaction out of pocket was $27 after coupons for the $40 of products we bought. After that one, we just used the $20 coup. from the previous transaction w/the coupons, so the 2nd tran. out of pocket was $4.37 and the 3rd was $5.46...and I still have a $20 coupon to use.
I was shooting for $40 for each order AFTER sale prices figured in. But....now I could be wrong, I think this spend $40 is on the Regular shelf price of the items, not sale items. I say this because I 'goofed' on my 2nd transaction, by ONLY having a total of $39.42(figured using the Sale prices of the items). Figuring the total using the reg. price of the items made the order just over $50. If they use the sale prices to figure your total then my 2nd transaction shouldn't have spit out a $20 CAT, right? But it did!
I may go back later this morning and try buying as close to $40 using the reg. shelf prices, instead of using the sale prices and see if I'm right.
Either way, I am out of pocket $37.13(not counting the leftover $20 cat) for $151.48 in products plus I have 3 receipts worth to send for 3 ham/turkey rebates(up to $60) for me and other family. Not a bad day's shopping in my book!

Unilever also owns the Suave brand & PC here has the small bottle of Suave Shampoo/Conditioner on sale for 4/$5 this week. There are $1.75/3 and $1/2 Qs from the inserts about a month? ago. I bought alot of Suave as it was on sale & the Qs make it even cheaper. Also, if you get tired of buying Lipton/Knorr's sides, try buying the Lipton small box of tea bags. It's the cheapest Lipton tea product here, only $1.19 and there are $1/2 Qs from last month's inserts on Lipton bags.

Another thing I got separately from these orders was some McCormick spices. The Grill Mates seasoning jars are on sale here for $2.29. There is a $1/2 coupon in the PC ad. Stack that with 2 $1/1 McCormick coupons from the inserts(last week or week before that)and the seasonings are .79¢ a jar.

I hope this post was ok. Sorry if I rambled on but I was excited about being able to roll this deal so well. ;-)

Sounds like you know what you're doing!!! Yes, the Unilever is based on shelf price. FYI< my PC took the $10/50 Shaws store coupon. There's a PDF file on site. JEN

I didn't know the deal was based on shelf price. I wish I would've known that when I did all my deals. I did pretty good though. Also, off topic, does anyone know the price of the Crest that is bogo this week?

Saratoga PC's do not double. I drove all the way to Granville (which was a really nice store!). Does Queensbury double? Thanks!

No, I'm guessing it's the $3.99 one, but I haven't bought toothpaste in awhile.

I know. I won't have to buy thoothpaste for a while. I got 8 free Colgate a couple weeks ago. Luckily my store doubles $1s. I was hoping they were $2. That would be a great deal for me. One can dream .

Geez, I wish I'd have known it would work based on shelf price. I may have eeked out a third deal by sparing a few coupons that way. Oh well. I was just happy I figured out a way to do the deal with the creamy Skippy and my flavor of sauce being all gone. I just bought crunchy pb and another flavor of sauce and will exchange them for the right things when they come in. I was frustrated because I waited until Saturday hoping for the truck to bring more, but it never did. Our PC always runs out of the good deals and doesn't restock.

No unfortunately Queensbury doesn't double either. Granville would be quite a trip for me too.

Yah, I wish I had known sooner in the week.
That's a good idea though....buying what they have and exchanging later for the flavor/style you REALLY wanted. I hadn't thought of that, thanks!

Ya'll are going to think I am nuts but I ended up doing NINE transactions for the Unilever deal. My totals were much lower OOP after figuring out it was reg. shelf price($2.33, $3.65)
All totaled I spent OOP $59.67 for $422.51 worth of food/toiletries, saving $362.84. I still have a $20 CAT for more free food and the potential for $180 in free meat....after I buy some meat and find 8 other people to have the rebates sent to for me.

I never thought I'd say this but....I think I am shopped out!

Someone sent me a private message. I tried to reply to you but I can't until I have 5 posts or something. Anyway, if you are reading this, I did the Unilever deal on April 10th & 11th at the Wilkes-Barre PA store.
Sorry if I shouldn't post this here but it's the only place I can think of that'a appropriate.
thanks

9 Transactions is awesome! I was not thinking when my husband and I each did a transaction. I never tried to "roll" at PC before so I didn't know if they would let me do 2 transactions and pay for the 2nd with the first. If I had more coupons, I would have done more transactions for sure!
