There were signs all over my PC in Bennington, VT. I inquired with one of the cashers and she stated that they will take any other store coupon-Target (we don't even have a target within an hour of the store), Hannaford, Shaws, K-mart. I am so excited about this since our store also dbls $1.00. This seem incredible. I wonder if this is happening at every PC store. Jen

I saw a sign there saying they accept competitors coupons, including 5/40 hannafords. I hadn't thought of the kmart one, good idea!

I'm so confused. I went to price chopper today and took my $5.00 off $25 Rite Aid, the $1.00 off broccoli (Super Target), and $2.00 off Laurel (sp?) Hair Color and they gave me lots of problems.

They took the brocolli and doubled it and wouldn't accept the other two. The casher went to manager who said that they won't take a store only coupon which was the 5 off 25 rite aid. They said that it had to say manufactures coupon on it so that they could get reimbursed. So then they wouldn't take the hair color coupon, which did say manufactures coupon, because it said on it that it was only accepted at Rite Aid. So annoying. I'll try the Hannaford next time and see if that works. I'm not giving up. Jen

BTW- I wish my Personal Computer (PC) was taking coupons, I'd be all set. Very Cute- thanks for the laugh. Jen

Oh, wait, just saw you are in VT.

Maybe ask for a copy the coupon policy. If there are signs saying they will accept competitor Qs - then they should accept them. Their competitors are the other stores - not the manufacturers. Their reasoning for refusing the $x/$xx Qs is faulty.
